    • A grip band used for working out, has a wrist strap and a grip pad. The wrist strap is positioned around a user's wrist and provides the wrist with support, while the grip pad provides a grip surface having a high coefficient of friction, which enhances the user's grip. A proximal end of the grip pad is fixedly connected to the wrist strap, while a distal end can be removably attached. When in use the distal end is detached from the wrist strap and placed across the user's palm with the grip surface facing away from the palm. A finger strap ensures the grip pad remains in position across the palm. When not in use, the grip pad can be concealed by encircling the grip pad around the wrist strap and engaging a pad fastener with a strap fastener.

    • An elongated focus pad is a combat sport training apparatus that reduces wear and tear experienced by a trainer's body. The elongated focus pad accomplishes this by distancing the impact zone of the focus pad away from the trainer's body. The elongated focus pad incorporates a target section, a barrel, a handle, and an internally positioned flexible core. The flexible core absorbs impact forces experienced by the target section reducing the total force experienced by a trainer's body. The target section is constructed of a flexible material capable of absorbing impacts but allowing for rapid successive strikes. The barrel is attached to the target section and distances it from the handle. The handle is positioned opposite the target section on the barrel and is manipulated by the trainer. The flexible core is internally positioned with the most flexible region being found within the barrel.

    • Disclosed herein is an invention directed to a weightlifting aid that an individual would utilize. More specifically, the present invention generally relates to a device directed to a weightlifting aid that an individual would couple to their hand to assist in the lifting of weights in an exercise or fitness environment. In one embodiment, the weightlifting swivel wrist hook is comprised of a user attachment element, a swivel element, and a hooking element. In another embodiment, the user attachment element is a wristband that allows attachment of the device to the user's wrist through various strapping means such as velcro, buttons, clips, and/or buckles. The swivel element is connected to the user attachment element and the hooking element and allows the hooking element to rotate about the swivel elements' pivot point. This movement of the hooking element allows the user to position the hooking element in an in use position or an out of use position. By allowing the hooking element to swivel or rotate to an out of use position, this will allow the user of the device to quickly move the hooking element out of the way without the user having to remove the device from their wrist.

    • An exercise garment includes pockets for carrying weights in a non-conspicuous manner. The pockets are strategically located on the exercise garments in order to enhance concealment of the weight when the garment is worn by an individual. One such strategic location of a weight pocket is the waistband portion of the garment. In order to improve the concealment of the weight, the weights may be formed as generally flat slabs that are flexible. As such the weight can be shaped to conform to the user's waist. Weight pockets are also strategically located in other areas of the garments selected to conceal the weights when the user is wearing the garment. Also disclosed are wrist cuffs which include weight pockets for carrying weights that are concealed.

    • An exemplary exercise device includes a handheld force sensor with complementary male and female connectors extending from opposite sides thereof. The force sensor senses pulling and/or pushing forces exerted between the opposing sides. The male connector may be resistant to travel through the female connector except in limited orientations. The connectors allow the exercise device to interface with any mobile or immobile device having complementary connectors. Non-complementary connectors can connect with the exercise device through a body passage. Depending on devices interfaced with the exercise device, force readings can be taken during a vast variety of motions using different muscle groups during training, exercise, and rehabilitation/physical therapy in homes, schools, healthcare facilities, health clubs, etc. Force readings from the force sensor may be communicated via wired and/or wireless technologies to other devices for live (real-time) processing and display as well as additional historical analysis and reporting.
