    • A rise assisting structure includes a main body, a seat unit, two operation bars, and two support units. The seat unit is pivotally connected, at one side thereof, to the main body. The operation bars are pivotally mounted to the main body. The operation bars are provided at one end thereof with a step board arranged therebetween. The support units are each of an elastic extendable/retractable arrangement. When the step board is treaded down, the operation bars provide a torque in a way similar to a seesaw and the support units provide an elastically-support upward-pushing effect to raise up the seat unit so as to allow a user, with or without the assistance of an attendant person, to rise and stand up easily.

    • A lift apparatus has a frame with open sides and a web assembly slidably retained along the sides which extends from one end of the frame to the other. While the web assembly is retracted, the frame moves to pass around a mobility-impaired individual and rest against the surface supporting the individual. The web assembly is then extended to move underneath or behind the individual, providing lifting support. The frame is configurable for orientations ranging continuously between horizontal and upright sitting. The web assembly has an upper web contacting the individual, a lower web contacting the support surface, a strength layer carrying the individual's weight, and a roller nose bar assembly which is pulled to extend the web assembly. A hand-held power tool can drive the web assembly, adjustment of inclinations of the back and leg sections of the frame, and vertical motion of the lift arm.

    • An apparatus for assisting a person to move from a seated position on a seat to a standing position and vice versa. The apparatus includes a base, an actuator arrangement, and a torso support. The torso support has a main engagement surface for engaging the chest of the person. The actuator arrangement moves the torso support over a range of vertical and horizontal positions in a direction substantially perpendicular to the main engagement surface. The actuator arrangement moves the torso support in the vertical range of positions independently of the horizontal position of the torso support. The apparatus also includes a rotational actuator connected to the torso support for rotating the torso support about a substantially horizontal pivot axis.

A support carriage coupled to the track system and configured to move between the two rooms. A duplex socket interface module attached to the support carriage and flexible raceway including a first conduit management system coupled to the support carriage and configured to automatically couple with and decouple with the duplex socket interface module.     • The present disclosure describes devices, methods, and systems for leg elevation. The leg elevating device includes a leg support platform, a base platform positioned adjacent the leg support platform, and a first and second lift positioned between and coupled to the leg support platform and the base platform. The leg support platform can have a first horizontal position relative the base platform when the first and second lift are in a first position, an angled position relative the base platform when the first lift is in a second position and the second lift is in the first position, and a second horizontal position relative the base platform when the first and second lift are in a second position. Also, the leg support platform can be a predetermined height above a floor surface when in the first horizontal position, such that the leg elevating device is locatable under furniture.
