摘要： An absorbent article and a package thereof are provided for a pet animal without a possibility that a fastener might be exposed on the outer side of the article. The absorbent article includes an absorbent panel and a fastener for fastening the absorbent panel. The absorbent panel has an absorbent region in which an absorbent body is disposed, a first non-absorbent region extending from the absorbent region to a first end edge and a second non-absorbent region extending from the absorbent region to a second end edge. The fastener is allocated on an exterior surface in the first non-absorbent region and releasably grabbed by the exterior surface of the absorbent panel except the first non-absorbent region to maintain such folded state when the absorbent panel is folded until the interior surface of the first non-absorbent region faces the interior surface of the second non-absorbent region.

摘要： The present invention provides a sanitary napkin that is thin (less than 5 mm in thickness), highly absorbent and has a lateral flexibility allowing for controlled deformation when in use, namely the assumption of a “W” pattern. This controlled deformation provides a good comfort potential and simultaneously reduces the likelihood of bunching due to compression forces exerted laterally against the napkin by the thighs of the wearer. In a specific example, the sanitary napkin is characterized by a pair of preferential bending zones extending along the longitudinal axis of the sanitary napkin and by a pair of longitudinal adhesive zones on the liquid-impervious barrier layer of the sanitary napkin, that register with the preferential bending zones. The longitudinal adhesive zones fasten the sanitary napkin to the undergarment at the areas at which the sanitary napkin is intended to fold when subjected to lateral compression. This feature allows the napkin to fold and adopt a desired three-dimensional deformation profile in a predictable manner when laterally compressed.

摘要： The present invention discloses a single attachable side panel for use with an absorbent article. The side panel comprises a sheet of skin-friendly material, having a first edge and a second edge extending in a lengthwise direction, and a third edge and a fourth edge extending in a widthwise direction. The side panel also includes a fastener, positioned along the third and/or fourth edge and middle portion, adapted to affix said sheet to an absorbent article. The absorbent article can be a conventional diaper or other incontinent product, which is positioned between the legs of the wearer and having a portion positioned in the front and back of the wearer. The side panel can then allow for the attachment of the front portion to the back portion of the absorbent article securing the absorbent article about the wearer.

The rear flaps are disposed rearward of fold-back flaps to be wrapped around a crotch part of an undergarment. The rear flap is of a shape spreading rearwardly from a starting point. With a pressure from the thighs acting forward of the starting point, leakage preventing walls forward of the starting point can be maintained in a rising state during wear. On the other hand, the leakage preventing walls rearward of the starting point may possibly fall outward. However, even if the leakage preventing walls fall outward rearward of the starting point, they will never project out of the rear flaps. Accordingly, they hardly leave a stain on an undergarment.

The leakage preventing wall has a skin-contacting portion, of which an inner edge is fixed at an inner edge's front end and an outer edge is fixed at an outer edge's front end located forward of the inner edge's front end. Therefore, when the leakage preventing wall is in a rising position, the skin-contacting portion is inclined with the outer edge closer to the wearer's body than the inner edge. Accordingly, the skin-contacting portion can easily conform to the wearer's crotch on both sides of the vaginal opening.
