    • An athletic training shoe insert includes one or more thin strips of heavy material, such as lead, constructed to fit within a shoe and formed to be spaced apart along the length of the shoe and to extend the width of the shoe. A removable insole is constructed to fit within the shoe and to hold the thin strips in a fixed position within the shoe. The thin strips and the insole are designed to allow a human foot to be placed comfortably in the shoe and cooperate to substantially increase the weight of the shoe for training purposes. The number of thin strips is changeable and the position of the thin strips along the length of the athletic shoe is changeable to change the weight of the athletic shoe. That is, a larger number of thin strips can be added to increase the weight of the shoe. Also, additional insoles and weights can be added to a shoe to substantially increase the weight if desired.

    • This invention is for several preferred embodiments of sole protectors for use with shoes for protecting the feet of the user. In one embodiment of the invention, a sole protector is provided in the shape of a sole of a boot formed of impenetrable material encased in a protective coating of material. The material for forming the impenetrable sole protector can be puncture proof, metal, and woven. In the second embodiment of the sole protector, the sole protector is formed of similar material, but with the sole formed of two sections hinged together. Additionally, the sole protector is designed with an arch height of a standard boot.

    • The present invention relates to a thorn-proof insole comprising an insole assembly and a plurality of joint assemblies and featuring in matching the shape change of the sole of a foot when the insole assembly is extended. The insole assembly includes four plates which are consecutively joined together. The joint of the first plate and the second plate is located between a user's toes and thenar, the joint of the second plate and the third plate is corresponding to the middle portion of the arch of foot, and the joint of the third plate and the fourth plate is located between the arch of foot and the heel portion. The four plates could be designed with the same thickness or with different thickness according to the requirement of its location. Each plate must be at least 0.5 mm thick, and each joint assembly includes at least two first sleeves, one second sleeve and one pin. The first sleeves and the second sleeve are respectively applied to make two adjacent plates join together.
