摘要： Bicomponent polyester filaments are disclosed, wherein the filaments are made of at least two different, substantially unmixed components, each present in an amount of at least 20% by weight of the total filament, one component being polyethylene terephthalate and the other component being polybutylene terephthalate which has been sparingly crosslinked with trimethylolpropane.The bicomponent polyester filaments of the present invention have excellent physical properties and especially improved permanency of crimping. The filaments may be used to manufacture woven and knit materials, and are especially useful in the manufacture of hosiery, wherein the resulting hosiery articles have excellent wear properties.

The remainder of the dialysis liquid is kept at a constant temperature and is regenerated.

摘要： Yarn waste, which occurs when strands of yarn are transferred from full to empty spools along a line of winding machines, is directed into a plurality of evacuation tubes which transfer the waste into a moving stream of liquid. The liquid is circulated through a closed conduit having a strainer at one end thereof which captures the waste yarn and allows the liquid to continue circulating. In order to prevent yarn from accumulating in the conduit, the walls of the conduit may be continually washed with the liquid. In this way, yarn waste from a plurality of winding stations may be conveniently collected for subsequent disposal.

The piling is then sliced continuously as it is being formed to obtain a plurality of individual strands. In either case, since the yarn has been curled randomly before being cut, the distribution of strand length obtained by cutting the piling will be variable.
