    • A process for preparing an organosilicon high condensation product having no silanol group in the terminal of the molecule, the process comprising the steps of hydrolyzing a mixture of an organosilicon compound represented by the formula (A) ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms and/or a low condensation product thereof and an organosilicon compound represented by the formula (B) ##STR2## wherein R' represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms and R is as defined above and/or a low condensation product thereof in the presence of an acid catalyst, and adding an alkaline material to the reaction product to adjust its pH to more than 7, thereby causing condensation reaction.

    • The present invention relates to a thermosetting acrylic resin powder coating composition and comprises specified four components (A) to (D), said four components (A) to (D) being:(A) a mixture of a glycidyl-containing acrylic resin and a hydroxyl-containing acrylic resin, or a glycidyl- and hydroxyl-containing acrylic resin,(B) a blocked isocyanate compound having a melting point of 60.degree. to 140.degree. C. and solid at room temperature,(C) an aliphatic dibasic acid or anhydride thereof, and(D) at least one tin compound represented by the formula SnO.sub.2, R.sub.2 SnO, R.sub.2 SnX.sub.2, R.sub.2 Sn(OCOR').sub.2, ##STR1## R.sub.3 SnX, R.sub.3 Sn-O-SnR.sub.3, ##STR2## or R.sub.4 Sn wherein R is phenyl or alkyl having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, X is halogen, alkoxyl having 1 to 18 carbon atoms or hydroxyl, R' is alkyl or alkenyl having 1 to 18 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 1 to 5.The coating composition comprising the specified four components (A) to (D) can give coatings which have outstanding surface smoothness even when less that 100.mu. in thickness.
