    • An ultrasonic motor includes a stator that includes a comb body with a plurality of circumferentially-arranged comb-like projections and a piezoelectric body integrally mounted on the comb body, a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator, the rotor having a contact surface that establishes pressure contact with the stator, and a driving circuit configured to apply a radio frequency voltage for driving the piezoelectric body to the piezoelectric body. The driving circuit includes a voltage generating unit configured to generate a first radio frequency voltage of which a frequency is randomly varied during a predetermined time period after start-up of the ultrasonic motor.

    • An ultrasonic motor includes a circular stator having a piezoelectric element and a comb-tooth body having a plurality of comb teeth which are circumferentially arranged thereon, and a circular rotor having a rotation shaft, the circular rotor being in press-contact with the comb teeth of the circular stator.     • A film scanner has a transport table for transporting the film held by a film holder in a sub-scan direction, a transport mechanism for moving the transport table in the sub-scan direction, a line sensor and a line sensor drive circuit for obtaining an image of the film. A functional specification divider replaces a description of the second functional elements described in the functional specification to a description using the interface signal information generated by the interface signal generator to produce a functional specification of the first functional element block.

    • A disk drive device is disclosed including a supporting mechanism for supporting a plurality of magnetic disks, a single motor, and a transmitting mechanism. The supporting mechanism comprises a plurality of bearing mechanisms, each of which rotatably supports each of the magnetic disks, respectively. Each bearing mechanisms is formed as a tube, and a rotatable shaft is connected to each disk and rotatably supported in each tubular bearing mechanism. The rotatable shaft is provided with grooves which generate a pumping effect when a fluid is passed therethrough, whereby the rotatable shaft is supported in the tubular bearing mechanism without friction therebetween. The transmitting mechanism comprises an endless belt for transmitting a rotation of the motor to the supporting mechanism.

When the logic elements to be grouped together are assigned, they are combined as a circuit block before the logic circuit is subjected to automatic layout optimization processing. The logic circuit is rearranged to include the circuit block as a circuit section having a fixed internal circuit configuration. The circuit block is prohibited from being divided into several portions in the final automatic layout optimization processing.
