摘要： A print control device including an acquisition unit for acquiring print conditions in response to a print request, a fixing unit for fixing a frequency of determining a print cancel based on the print conditions acquired by the acquisition unit, and a determining unit for determining whether a print cancel command is issued as the data processing unit generates and/or transfers print data at the frequency fixed by the fixing unit. The print control device thus determines the presence or absence of a print cancel command at an appropriate frequency under an environment that permits no multitasking. A response process from the reception of the print cancel command to the execution of a cancel operation becomes uniform, resulting in unnecessary waiting time and useless printing actions.

摘要： A connecting member has a radiation structure. Concretely, plural openings are formed on a cylindrical portion of the connecting member. When a voice coil bobbin moves to a sound emitting side, a portion of the air in a space between a diaphragm and a conductive damper is inhaled to a space between the cylindrical portion and the voice coil bobbin through each opening of the connecting member. By the inhaled force, high temperature air around the voice coil is pushed out and discharged to a space on the side of the inner peripheral edge portion of a frame. When the voice coil bobbin moves to the side opposite to the sound emitting side, the air in the space between the voice coil bobbin and the plate is compressed, and air is discharged to the space between the inner peripheral wall of the voice coil bobbin and the magnetic circuit system.

摘要： It is an object of this invention to provide a user-legible print result in consecutively printing a plurality of pages of images. To this end, it is checked whether there is continuity between data to be printed at the lower end portion of a page and data to be printed at the upper end portion of the next page. If there is continuity, a page break is inserted before the data at the lower end portion of the page, and an image of the data at the lower end portion is printed on the next page. Controlling a printing method in this manner makes it possible to prevent character split due to printing across pages and provide a user-legible print result.

摘要： Method and apparatus for controlling an electromagnetic clutch of a vehicle to transmit a torque of the engine to the drive wheels through an engaging action thereof which is effected by a solenoid, a clutch torque to be transmitted by the clutch being varied as a function of an electric current to energize the solenoid so as to be increased with an actual speed of the engine during the engaging action of the clutch. The method or apparatus comprises: a step or device for detecting a currently required output of the engine during a period of the engaging action of the clutch; and a step or device for changing a rate of increase in the electric current relative to the actual speed of the engine, so that the rate of increase is increased as the required output of the engine is decreased. The clutch may be of magnetic powder type. The controlling method or apparatus may comprise a step or device for controlling the electric current even after completion of the clutch engagement, based on the actual output torque of the engine, such that the clutch torque is larger than the actual output torque of the engine and smaller than an allowable upper limit torque of the engine.

摘要： Provided is a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (C) having an ethylen content of 5 to 55 mol %, which contains a specific structural unit (I) in an amount of 0.3 to 40 mol % and may be obtained by reacting an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) with a monofunctional epoxy compound (B) having a molecular weight of not more than 500. This can be produced by a method for producing the modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (C) which comprises melting and kneading an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) with a monofunctional epoxy compound (B) in an extruder. The modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (C) is superior to a unmodified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) in transparency, stretchability, flexibility and flexing resistance due to the specific structural unit (I) incorporated therein, and thus, can be used as a barrier material in various applications requiring the above performance capabilities.

摘要： A multilayer structure having a layer of an adhesive resin composition (A) and a layer of another resin (B), wherein the adhesive resin composition (A) includes a thermoplastic resin (a1) containing functional groups of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a boronic acid group and boron-containing groups capable of being converted into a boronic acid group in the presence of water, and a polyolefin (a2) which does not contain the functional groups, the blending weight ratio (a1/a2) of the thermoplastic resin (a1) to the polyolefin (a2) is 1/99 to 15/85, and particles of the thermoplastic resin (a1) are dispersed with an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 1.2 μm in a matrix of the polyolefin (a2). Consequently, a multilayer structures having satisfactory interlayer adhesion strength can be provided even if the content of the resin having a special functional group in the adhesive resin composition layer is reduced.
