摘要： A perforator includes a perforating unit, a chad recovery/delivery unit, a chad storage unit, a chad guiding unit, and a shielding unit. The perforating unit perforates a sheet-shaped recording medium. The chad recovery/delivery unit delivers a chad perforated by the perforating unit to the chad storage unit via discharge channels in the chad guiding unit. The chad storage unit stores the delivered chad. The shielding unit includes a shielding body and a shielding face fixed on an end thereof. The shielding unit releases a shielding against the discharge channels to discharge the chad though an opening in an interior of the shielding body to the chad storage unit when the shielding unit is in a first position. When the shielding unit is in a second position, the shielding face blocks the discharge channels to prevent the chad from being discharged to the chad storage unit.

摘要： An aligning unit aligns a front end of a sheet bundle stacked in a tray in a discharging direction. A sheet bundle conveying unit holds a rear end of the sheet bundle and conveys the sheet bundle in the discharging direction. The aligning unit is arranged to be retracted from a conveying path of the sheet bundle after aligning the front end of the sheet bundle and to come out in the conveying path of the sheet bundle behind the sheet bundle conveying unit after a movement of the sheet bundle conveying unit.

The cast film is stripped from the support to obtain a polymer film containing the solvent, and the polymer film is dried. A first gas flow duct has gas nozzles for causing a first dry gas to flow toward the cast film. A second gas flow duct has a gas outlet disposed downstream from the gas nozzles, and positioned higher than a height of the gas nozzles relative to the support, for causing a second dry gas to flow toward the cast film in a moving direction of the support. Furthermore, the first gas flow duct includes a gas blow wall for defining the first flow path by opposing to the support. The gas blow wall has the gas nozzles.

摘要： A sheet finisher for executing preselected processing with a sheet conveyed thereto of the present invention includes a first processing tray configured to temporarily store the sheet and deliver it. A first and a second path are positioned downstream of the first processing tray in a direction of sheet conveyance and configured to convey a first and a second sheet stack, respectively. The first path conveys the first sheet stack upward over the downstream portion of the first processing tray while the second path conveys it downward over the same. A switching device selects either one of the first and second paths. The sheet finisher of the present invention is low cost and highly productive and space saving.

摘要： A folding device of the present invention includes a fold plate and a fold roller pair for folding a sheet or a sheet stack conveyed thereto. A controller causes the fold roller pair to move back and forth while nipping the folded portion of the sheet or that of the sheet stack at its nip for thereby continuously exerting pressure on the folded portion. 摘要： A sheet finishing apparatus includes a conveying member configured to convey recording media and a tray configured to receive the recording media conveyed by the conveying member. The tray includes a holding member configured to hold the recording media therein and to contact a first edge of the recording media such that the recording media is positioned, a rotatable moving member configured to contact the recording media such that the holding member abuts against the recording media, a discharging member configured to discharge the recording media stacked by the holding member, and a protruding member mounted on the discharging member and configured to contact a second edge of the recording media such that the recording media is positioned.
