摘要： A liquid container detachably mountable to a mounting portion of an ink jet recording apparatus, and which includes a liquid chamber, a light emitter, an electrical contact which receives a signal for light emission by the light emitter, and a display portion which directs emitted light from the light emitter toward an outside of the liquid container. A latch lever is elastically deformable and has a latching portion spaced from a first side of the liquid container, the first side being between the latching portion and the liquid chamber. A liquid supply port is disposed at a second side of the liquid container. The electrical contact is disposed at a position which is between the latching portion and the liquid supply port as seen facing both of the first and second sides, and the display portion is disposed adjacent to an upper portion, in use, of the first side.

摘要： A liquid container detachably mountable to a mounting portion of an ink jet recording apparatus in a slot-like mounting configuration where the liquid container is supported between a pair of engaging portions that respectively engage with a corresponding pair of locking portions on the mounting portion of the recording apparatus. The liquid container is supported in an upright configuration and includes a display portion on an upper side thereof, and a light emitting portion which emits light for display by the display portion. Because the display portion is disposed on an upper side, a user can confirm the display despite the mounting arrangement of the liquid container in the recording apparatus.

When liquid is dispensed, the inner layer peels off the outer layer. The inner layer and the outer layer are bonded, in a first region, to each other with a force such that the inner layer is peelable from the outer layer by change of pressure, and the inner layer and the outer layer are bonded, in a second region, to each other with a force which is larger than that in the first region, by which the inner layer peels off the outer layer in the second region after the inner layer peels off the outer layer in the first region.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a fiber aggregate formed by fiber having reforming surface comprises the steps of providing a fiber surface having thermoplastic resin at least on the surface layer thereof with a hydrophilic processing liquid containing polymer having a first portion with more hydrophilic group than the surface, and a second portion having interfacial energy different from that of the hydrophilic group, and interfacial energy substantially equal to the surface energy of the fiber; orientating the second portion toward the fiber surface, while orientating polymer to the side different from the surface of the first group; and forming a fiber absorber by heating the fiber having the reformed surface in the step of orientating polymer to thermally bond the contact points of fibers themselves. With this method of manufacture, it becomes possible to enhance the uniform property of the fiber aggregate still more, which is formed subsequent to making the property of such fiber aggregate uniform per unit of single fiber or small aggregate existing in any one of stages before the formation thereof.

摘要： A forming method for a fiber aggregate in which fibers are heated to be welded with each other includes a heating step of applying upward heated air to a bottom of a block of the fibers to pass the heated air therethrough and to cause the block of fibers to float, wherein at least parts of fibers are melted while the block of fibers float, and a compression step of compressing substantially in a vertical direction the heated block of fibers into a desired height. 摘要： A container of the present invention for use of ink jet recording liquid is arranged to store recording liquid to be supplied to an ink jet recording head. This recording liquid container comprises the container main body, and an absorber holding recording liquid contained in the interior of the container main body, and the absorber is constituted by the fiber having its elongation percentage (Japanese Industrial Standard JIS-L1015) of 250% or less. With the elongation percentage of the fibrous absorber manufactured by the thermal processing which is defined within a specific range, it becomes possible to suppress the dimensional changes before and after the execution of the thermal processing, as well as to make the difference smaller between the higher and lower densities on the surface layer and the central portion of the fibrous absorber, respectively, hence providing a highly uniform absorber.
