摘要： A liquid crystal projector comprises a light source, two color-separating dichroic mirrors for separating light from the light source into lights of red, green and blue lights wavebands, three liquid crystal display elements for producing image lights of red, green and blue wavebands using those separated lights of different wavebands, two color-combining dichroic mirrors for combining the image lights of different wavebands to finally provide single image light, three luminous flux reduction lenses provided on an optical path running from the individual color-separating dichroic mirrors to the individual color-combining dichroic mirrors, and a projection lens for projecting the image light combined by the color-combining dichroic mirrors. The color-combining dichroic mirrors are designed in such a way to combine image lights with priority over the image light with an intermediate waveband.

摘要： A projection display apparatus includes a light source unit for generating light for image formation, an electro-optical display device for displaying an optical image by utilizing the light emitted from the light source unit, and an enlarging/projection lens. The light source unit, the display device, and the projection lens are accommodated in a housing with vent openings. The housing also includes a fan for cooling the interior of the housing with cool air and a cooler for maintaining a display panel within a predetermined temperature range. The light source unit includes a lamp and a reflector and is designed not to cause image deformation and formation of a shadow of a discharge portion. In order to display a television image on the display device, all television image display circuit units excluding an antenna are accommodated in the housing. The enlarging/projection lens can control a magnification and a focal point of the image projected on the screen.

A liquified refrigerant is introduced through a conduit and a hollow shaft into the drum and is discharged as droplets into the brine while the drum is being rotated at high speeds in the brine. Upon getting into the brine, the refrigerant is vaporized and takes away heat of the brine, which is then refrigerated to form small crystals of ice.
