    • A dental syringe safety sheath having a modified duckbill valve for minimizing cross-contamination between dental patients is provided. The sheath includes a generally tubular body member having a nozzle engaging portion and a discharge portion. The nozzle engaging portion is configured to substantially fit over and cover the nozzle of a dental syringe having a discharge orifice. The discharge portion defines a fluid passageway having an inlet adjacent the discharge orifice and outlet downstream therefrom. The fluid passageway progressively narrows in cross-section between the inlet and the outlet to form a substantially wedge-shaped cavity terminating in a slit disposed between a pair of opposing sealing lips. The cross-section of the sealing lips between the ends of the slit is wider than the corresponding cross-section of the sealing lips at the lip margins. As an additional or alternative feature of the present invention, the collective width of the sealing lips measured along a discrete portion of the lips between the ends of the slit being at least as great as the length of the lips measured along the slit.

    • A refrigerator has a cabinet with an outer case and an inner liner. The liner forms a storage compartment with an access opening. A cabinet face portion surrounds the opening and a door selectively closes the compartment. The door includes a flange which overlaps the face portion and a gasket mounted on the flange engages face portion. The gasket is an elongated body of a co-extruded material and includes a base wall of a rigid material mounted on the door frame, a contact wall spaced from the base wall for sealing engagement with the face portion and a pair of side walls connecting the base and contact walls to form a hollow interior. The contact wall includes a pair of spaced apart elongated strips of more rigid material connected by an elongated strip of less rigid material. The less rigid strip has an elongated outward projecting bow shape. The side walls are indented in a "V" shape and the apex of the V has a reduced thickness. A strip of fiber glass, with a net like backing on one side, is in the interior of the gasket.

    • A channel and stop arrangement for structures of the type containing racks or drawers supported from sliding or rolling support members carried in a channel, comprising an elongated channel member of generally C-shaped cross section adapted to receive the support members in its interior trackway and a stop member positioned in the end of the channel member to retain the support members in the trackway. The stop member comprises a cap portion of enlarged cross section joined to a rigid central body portion by a neck portion of reduced cross section and a lateral positioning tab extending from the central body portion. The tab is adapted to flex longitudinally relative to the central body portion between a normal position and an assembly position to facilitate insertion of the stop member into the channel and to rigidly oppose lateral motion relative to the central body portion to laterally retain the stop member in the channel. The channel member side wall has an indented portion formed near its front-facing end rigidly projecting into the trackway. When the stop is positioned in the channel, the indented portion extends between the cap portion and the central body portion to prevent longitudinal outward movement of the stop member, the indented portion and the central body portion providing sufficient structural rigidity to oppose longitudinal loads applied to the stop member by pull-out forces exerted on the rack or drawer.
