摘要： A method and apparatus for assembling data associated with an emergency call event is provided. A location of a communication device is determined based on a device identifier conveyed via an emergency call, responsive to determining that the emergency call has occurred in a communication network, originating from the communication device. A database is accessed to determine first contextual data associated with the communication device using the device identifier. The location of the communication device and the first contextual data is provided in a format processable by a computing device associated with an emergency response team.

The configurable end-user device having a configuration profile storing user-associated feature sets associated with respective log-in data, each user-associated feature set defining how the configurable end-user device is to be configured when the respective log-in data is received at the configurable end-user device. Furthermore a user configuration profile server, a local configuration profile server and an aggregator are provided for storing copies of configuration profiles.

First information identifying a first communication device and second information identifying a second communication device is received via a link layer protocol over a data network. It is determined if the first communication device and the second communication device are co-located based on first link layer data associated with the first communication device and second link layer data associated with the second communication device. An association is triggered between the first information and the second information if the first communication device and the second communication device are determined to be co-located.
