    • An image processing apparatus includes display means for displaying a zoom image resulting from enlargement of a certain area in an original image to a zoom area; important object determining means for determining whether the absolute value of the difference in pixel value between a pixel on a boundary line, which is the outermost circumference of the zoom area, and the pixel that adjoins the pixel on the boundary line in the direction perpendicular to the boundary line and outward from the zoom area is lower than or equal to a predetermined threshold value to determine whether any important object is across the boundary line; and resetting means for resetting a zoom parameter used for determining the zoom area if the important object determining means determines that any important object is across the boundary line.

    • An information processor is provided which allows to provide highly reliable information. Information from various information providers is stored. In addition, the reliability of the information is calculated by inputting an evaluation based on a result of use of the provided information or an actual processing result based on the provided information. The reliability of a provider of each information is calculated for each category and a highly-reliable-provider database is established. An information user (buyer) can extract highly reliable providers from the highly reliable provider database and can use or buy information provided by the extracted providers. Thus, highly reliable information can be selected from many pieces of information.

    • The present invention relates to a space-diving apparatus that could well be preferably applied to a single-leaf section, a divider etc. A division plate section 110 constitutes a single-leaf screen device 100 and divides a space. On a front surface of the division plate section 110, nine TV receiving sets 131-1 through 131-9 are arranged in a matrix shape and an attachable/detachable manner. These TV receiving sets 131-1 through 131-9 can be detached and individually used. If the TV receiving set is detached, a decorative sheet is arranged to a position where this receiving set has been arranged. On a back surface of the division plate section 110, nine image pickup elements are mounted to, for example, positions that correspond to the TV receiving sets 131-1 through 131-9, respectively. An imaging direction of each of the image pickup elements can be automatically aligned with a line of sight of the user based on a position of the user (position of a remote controller). An image due to a video signal obtained by each of the image pickup elements can be displayed on the TV receiving sets 131-1 through 131-9, thereby permitting the user to observe the other side of the division plate section 110 easily.
