摘要： An illumination device includes an irradiation unit having a light emitting element and fluorescent bodies excited by the light from the light emitting element to radiate light of different wavelengths. The irradiation unit irradiates composite light of blue, green and red lights having half value widths of 20-40 nm, 110-150 nm and 80-110 nm and peak wavelengths of 440-465 nm, 545-555 nm and 630-650 nm, respectively. If the output value of the light in a wavelength 435-465 nm is assumed to be 100%, the output values of the lights having wavelengths of 490, 530 and 639 nm fall within 46-56%, 59-77% and 75-93%, respectively. The ratio of the output value of the light of 630 nm to that of the light of 530 nm falls within 73-86%.

摘要： In an embodiment, a booklet conveying device includes: a pair of conveying units; a positioning unit; a pressing unit; and a conveying-force changing unit. The pair of conveying units convey a booklet made of a stack of folded sheets, and change a distance therebetween. The positioning unit positions the booklet by making a leading-end portion of the booklet abut thereto. The pressing unit presses the booklet positioned by the positioning unit onto one of the conveying units in order to fix. The conveying-force changing unit changes the conveying force exerted by the conveying units.

摘要： A creasing apparatus forming a crease on sheets one by one includes: a first member having a linear convex blade formed in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction; a second member having a concave blade being paired with the convex blade; and a drive unit that moves the first and second members so as to cause the convex blade and the concave blade to form a crease on a sheet stopped at a predetermined position. The first member forms the convex blade with first comb and second comb and the second member forms the concave blade with third comb and fourth comb that advance and retract relative to each other. The drive unit selects advanced and retracted positions of the first comb and second comb and advanced and retracted positions of the third comb and fourth comb so as to perform a creasing process or a perforating process.

摘要： Provided are an ink jet ink set, an ink jet recording method, and an ink jet recording apparatus each of which can reduce the graininess of an image to be recorded and improve the water fastness of the image even in a recording medium such as plain paper. The ink jet ink set has a first ink and a second ink independently, and is used so that the first and second inks overlap each other at least partly upon application of the inks to a recording medium. The first ink contains at least a pigment and a silicone oil.
