摘要： This invention relates to a balloon control ring.Said balloon control ring has, on its inner surface of the ring proper, a plurarity of ribs arranged in parallel at regular intervals. The ribs are also arranged in such a manner that a yarn contacts the ribs at an angle against the direction of the ribs. The ribs successively overlap each other so that a yarn contacts at the same time the point at which it leaves one rib and the point at which it comes into contact with the next rib. Said balloon control ring proper is fixed to a supporting means which is fixed to the frame of a machine.Thus the balloon control ring can control ballooning of yarns satisfactorily in the spinning doubling and twisting process and the like of an artificial or synthetic fiber or a mixture of fibers, while allowing a yarn to pass through at a high speed without causing melting, fluffing or breaking of the yarn.

摘要： A novel cycloolefin copolymer that can be employed in the production of molding with fewer defects, for example, fewer gel particles (fish eyes). There is provided a cycloolefin copolymer comprising 80 to 20 mol % of repeating units derived from an α-olefin monomer and 20 to 80 mol % of repeating units derived from at least one cycloolefin monomer selected from the group consisting of monomer of the general formula (I), monomer of the general formula (II), monomer of the general formula (III), monomer of the general formula (IV) and monomer of the general formula (V), wherein with respect to the repeating units derived from cycloolefin monomer, the proportion thereof being present in the form of dimer (Rd) is 50 mol % or below and the proportion thereof being present in the form of trimer (Rt) 5 mol % or above.

摘要： A process for producing a polyacetal copolymer, which is extremely heat-stable and is extremely reduced in the quantity of unstable terminals even in a high polymerization yield in which trioxane as the principal monomer, comprises copolymerization of trioxane as the principal monomer with a cyclic ether or cyclic formal having at least one carbon-to-carbon bond as the comonomer by using a specific heteropoly-acid or acid salt thereof as a polymerization catalyst until the content of the remaining monomers is lowered to at most 10% by weight based on all the monomers fed, adding 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the resulting crude polymer, of a solution containing a catalyst deactivator, or contacting a basic gas as the deactivator to deactivate the catalyst, and subjecting the crude polymer as such to heat melting treatment without washing thereof.

摘要： A resin composition comprises (1) a thermoplastic resin and (2) a modified polyacetal wherein a residue of a polymerizable compound having a functional group such as an epoxy group, a carboxyl group, an acid anhydride group or others is introduced to a base polyacetal in a proportion of 0.1 to 30% by weight relative to the base polyacetal. The thermoplastic resin includes various polymers such as an olefinic polymer, a styrenic polymer, a polyester, a polyamide and so on. The thermoplastic resins can be used singly or in combination, and the latter combination includes a combination of two or more species of resins being immiscible with each other, a combination of a polyacetal and a resin except for a polyacetal (e.g. an elastomer, etc.) and other combinations. The relative ratio of (1) the thermoplastic resin to (2) the modified polyacetal is such that the former/the latter equals about 1/99 through 99/1 (by weight).

摘要： A combing cylinder assembly of a comber includes a needle plates laminated member and a combing cylinder proper. The needle plates laminated member is formed by laminating a plurality of needle plates, each needle plate consisting of a needle base part with a needle head at the upper portion thereof and a needle inserting part, the two parts together forming a substantially acute angle .angle. shape with a concave recessed portion at the corner therebetween, and by inserting and locking a connecting member in the concave recessed portions.
