    • A pipe liner bag everting nozzle is provided for allowing an operator to freely access a manhole during a lining operation. A pipe liner bag everting nozzle comprises a guide tube fixing end for fixing one end of a guide tube, and a pipe liner bag fixing end for fixing a folded end of an uneverted pipe liner bag passed through the guide tube, wherein the guide tube fixing end has a diameter smaller than a diameter of the pipe liner bag fixing end. Since a guide tube having a smaller diameter than that of a pipe line to be repaired (or the pipe liner bag) can be used, a sufficient gap is formed between the guide tube and the manhole, thereby allowing the operator to freely access the manhole during the lining operation for inspection and confirmation of a lining situation.

    • A branch pipe lining method is provided which can directly achieve an air-tight connection between a pressure bag and a branch pipe liner bag in a simple structure without employing a conventional sealed tube. An open end of the pressure bag is attached to a set nozzle attached to a work robot which is movably installed in a main pipe. A branch pipe liner bag, impregnated with a thermosetting resin, is placed inside the pressure bag. The liner bag has a flange which is removably attached to the set nozzle by fitting a protrusion formed on a surface of the flange into a concave groove formed in the set nozzle. With the flange being closely contacted to the inner wall of the main pipe around a branch pipe opening, compressed air is supplied into the pressure bag to evert and insert the branch pipe liner bag into a branch pipe. While the branch pipe liner bag is pressed against the inner wall of the branch pipe, the thermosetting resin impregnated in the branch pipe liner bag is cured, whereby the inner wall of the branch pipe is lined with the cured thermosetting resin, i.e., the branch pipe is repaired. Upon completing the lining operation, the protrusion is disengaged from the concave groove to remove the work robot and the pressure bag from the branch pipe liner bag.

    • A branch pipe lining method is provided for maintaining a favorable surface state on the inner surface of a lined branch pipe. The branch pipe lining method utilizes a branch pipe liner bag composed of a tubular resin-absorbent material having a flange formed at one end thereof, wherein the outer surface of the tubular resin-absorbent material is covered with a highly air-tight film, and the tubular resin-absorbent material is impregnated with an unhardened hardenable resin, and a cylindrical fluid pressure sealing member attached to the inner surface of the flange. A cylindrical front end nozzle attached to an opening at one end of a pressure bag is inserting into the fluid pressure sealing member of the branch pipe liner bag, and the front end nozzle and the fluid pressure sealing member are sealed by an elastic member interposed therebetween. Then, a pressurized fluid is supplied into the pressure bag, with the flange of the branch pipe liner bag being in close contact with an opening of a branch pipe, to evert and insert the branch pipe liner bag into the branch pipe from a main pipe toward the ground. The hardenable resin impregnated in the branch pipe liner bag is hardened with the inserted branch pipe liner bag being pressed onto an inner wall of the branch pipe, followed by pulling the front end nozzle out from the fluid pressure sealing member to tear the pressure bag off the branch pipe liner bag.

    • A pipe lining method provides for precise cutting of a main pipe liner bag along a branch pipe opening using a cutter while preventing the inner wall of a branch pipe and the cutter from damages. After a cutting protection member is attached along the periphery of a branch pipe opening of a main pipe, the main pipe is lined using a main pipe liner bag. Then, a cutter of a cutting robot introduced into the main pipe is driven to cut away a portion of the main pipe liner bag covering a branch pipe opening. Since the cutting protection member functions as a guide for the cutter when cutting the portion of the main pipe liner bag covering the branch pipe opening as well as functions as a protection member for protecting the inner wall of the branch pipe, thereby making it possible to precisely cut the main pipe liner bag along the branch pipe opening using the cutter and to prevent the inner wall of the branch pipe and the cutter from damages.

    • A branch pipe lining method of the invention utilizes a branch pipe liner bag impregnated with a hardenable resin and having a flange at one end thereof, wherein the flange is folded out and mounted to a fluid pressure sealing nozzle; the branch pipe liner bag is everted and insertied into a branch pipe; an upper end of the branch pipe liner bag is pulled up by a rope or the like with the flange thereof being secured on the inner wall of the main pipe; the fluid pressure sealing nozzle is removed from the branch pipe liner bag; a sealing pressure bag introduced into the main pipe is expanded to seal a lower opening of the branch pipe liner bag with the sealing pressure bag; the upper end of the branch pipe liner bag is closed, and the branch pipe liner bag is pressed against the inner wall of the branch pipe with a fluid pressure; and the hardenable resin impregnated in the branch pipe liner bag is hardened while the branch pipe liner bag is continuously being pressed against the inner wall of the branch pipe. After the lining is completed, the sealing pressure bag can be easily removed from the branch pipe liner bag after it has been hardened, so that any fragment of the sealing pressure bag will not remain on the inner wall of the branch pipe, with the result that the inner wall surface of the branch pipe can be maintained in a favorable condition.
