摘要： A rubber laminate comprising at least one sheet of a fluorine-containing rubber and at least one sheet of a nitrile/butadiene rubber wherein either one of the rubber sheets is incorporated by mixing with an epoxy resin and the other of the rubber sheets is incorporated by mixing with a curing agent for the resin which is produced by assembling the sheets under pressure in the presence of a curing temperature. The resulting rubber laminate has an excellent impermeability to liquids and is useful for preparing various devices or vessels for transferring or treating organic solvents and oils, e.g. a hose for gasoline.

摘要： An optical disc apparatus that reproduces images from an optical disc by reading image data from the optical disc and displaying images based on the image data read from the optical disc. When the optical disc apparatus reproduces images from an optical disc, the apparatus performs a preparation operation for reproduction of images from the optical disc. During the preparation operation, a controller sequentially displays different types of initial images as time passes. For example, the first initial image, which is to be displayed first of the initial images, is an image indicating the type of the optical disc as well as showing the name of the manufacturer of the optical disc apparatus. The second and third initial images are a scenic image and an image showing a message to a user, respectively.

If the temperature sensor senses temperature of at least 65° C. the control portion turns on a cooling fan device. As the temperature sensor that is previously provided in the hard disk device can be utilized to control the cooling fan device, the apparatus can be less costly than that provided with a separate, dedicated temperature sensor, as conventional.

摘要： A wafer grinding method is disclosed, in which only a region, corresponding to a device formation region, of the back side of a wafer is ground in rough grinding conducted first, while the part surrounding the region thus ground is left unground as an annular projected part, to prevent the outer peripheral edge of the wafer from becoming knife edge-like in shape. In the subsequent finish grinding, the annular projected part is ground and, further, the whole area of the back side of the wafer is ground to be flat. Chippings of the outer peripheral edge may be generated only during the finish grinding, whereby the chippings are prevented from occurring or limited to minute ones.

摘要： A template processor converts an initial template document into an XSL template that can be used to automatically generate reports from report data extracted from a database or other application. Users create initial template documents using a word processor or other rich-text editing application. The initial template document employs the word processor's native formatting features to specify the formatting of report data. The initial template document includes placeholder tags inserted by the user to define the locations of report data in the report. The initial template document also includes transformation tags that dynamically define the content of a report based on the value or quantity of report data. The template processor can include a reader adapted to read portions of the initial template file and a parser adapted to create corresponding XSL code from these portions. The XSL template can be combined with XML-formatted data to create a report.
