    • In an image processing system according to an embodiment, a display unit simultaneously displays a predetermined number of parallax images. A parallax image generation control unit performs control such that a group of parallax images of point-of-view positions which are larger in number than the predetermined number is generated. A display control unit classifies the group of the parallax images into a first parallax image sub group including a set of parallax images whose point-of-view positions are discontinuous to each other and a second parallax image sub group including parallax images whose point-of-view positions are between the set of the parallax images, and performs control such that the display unit displays the first parallax image sub group and the second parallax image sub group while switching the first parallax image sub group and the second parallax image sub group at a predetermined switching speed.

    • According to one embodiment, a medical image display apparatus includes at least a time information obtaining unit, an image storage unit, a display unit, a display unit, and an indicating unit. The time information obtaining unit obtains information on a scan sequence and obtains scan time information as information of a time when a medical image is picked up in accordance with the scan sequence. The image storage unit stores the scan time information in association with the medical image. The display unit simultaneously displays the medical image including the scan time information stored in the image storage unit and a time chart indicating the scan sequence. When a predetermined medical image displayed on the display unit is selected, the indicating unit displays an image indicating a time position on the time chart corresponding to the scan time information included in the medical image.

    • An index-value detecting unit detects an index value that indicates a contrast medium density in a Region Of Interest (ROI) set on an image reconstructed during a scan. A switch-timing detecting unit detects an inflection point appearing on a curve that indicates temporal variations in the contrast medium density in the ROI, based on an index value detected by the index-value detecting unit. An imaging control unit then performs control so as to skip the rest of a scanning plan in execution and to start the next scanning plan when the switch-timing detecting unit detects an inflection point.
