    • A motor control apparatus for a hybrid car is capable of reducing a spin of the wheel driven by the motor. The hybrid car comprises an engine driven wheel driven by an engine and a motor driven wheel to be driven by a motor for driving the wheel not driven by the engine. The hybrid car has an engine 11, a front wheel 12 driven by the engine 11, a generator 15 connected to this engine and driven thereby, an electric motor 13 for driving the rear wheel 14 using power provided by the generator without being driven by the engine, and a controller 20 mounted on the car to control the output of this electric motor. The controller 20 controls the field currents of the electric motor and generator in such a way that the driving torque of the motor driven wheel to be driven by the electric motor is smaller than the driving torque of the engine driven wheel to be driven by the engine, thereby ensuring traction and car stability.

The brake control system includes a master-cylinder operated by a brake operation of a driver; a first mechanism that regulates a pressure inside the master-cylinder according to the brake operation amount; a first control apparatus that controls operation of the first mechanism; a second mechanism that regulates communication of the pressure inside the master-cylinder to a wheel-cylinder; and a second control apparatus that controls operation of the second mechanism and operation of a pump apparatus that increases a pressure communicated to the wheel-cylinder. The first and second control apparatuses each have a power supply circuit and CPU. The brake control system further includes a first hydraulic pressure sensor that measures a pressure inside the master-cylinder and is electrically connected to the first control apparatus, and a second hydraulic pressure sensor that measures a pressure inside the master-cylinder and is electrically connected to the second control apparatus.

    • To provide a four-wheel drive system which improves running performance of an automotive vehicle by inhibiting a driving torque from becoming insufficient upon occurrence of a slip. An R slip sensing means of a DC motor torque calculating means senses a slip due to a spin of rear wheels. When the rear wheel slip is sensed, an R slip DC-motor-torque correcting means corrects a torque of the rear wheels so that a driving force of the rear wheels is reduced and then increased. The R slip DC-motor-torque correcting means reduces a driving torque of the rear wheels to eliminate the slip and holds the reduced driving torque until the slip is eliminated, and then increases the driving torque to a value lower than a value which the driving torque has taken at the time of occurrence of the slip. The driving torque is increased to a predetermined limit value depending on the number of slips.

    • Provided is a brake control apparatus for a vehicle which detects an amount of brake-pedal operation by means of an electric signal, and then calculates a braking force demanded by a driver from the electric signal, and thereby generates the demanded braking force. A control mode for a braking force is switched from a normal control mode to a stationary-vehicle control mode, if a determination that the vehicle is in a stationary state is followed by another determination that an electric signal corresponding to an actual braking force exceeds a command value for a stationary-vehicle braking force while the vehicle is in the stationary state. The control mode for a braking force is switched from the stationary-vehicle control mode to the normal control mode, if it is determined that the demanded braking force becomes smaller than the command value for the stationary-vehicle braking force. In addition, in the stationary-vehicle control mode, a braking force generated by a means for braking is equal to the command value for the stationary-vehicle braking force, whereas, in the normal control mode, the braking force generated by the means for braking is equal to the braking force demanded by the driver.
