摘要： To provide a pull model which can remotely control an image pick-up device by connecting the image pick-up device to an image information receiver through a communication path and operating a general purpose file reading program by the image information receiver. The image pick-up device includes: a communicating unit capable of transmitting and receiving information to/from the image information receiver; and an information processing unit for instructing the information of directories in which the file names of functions indicating at least a function for picking up an image are registered to be transmitted to the image information receiver through the communicating unit. The information processing unit transmits an image file obtained by picking up the image to the image information receiver through the communicating unit, so that the image pick-up device can be easily remotely controlled from the image information receiver.

摘要： A digital still camera includes a mode selection key for setting a selected one of plural operation modes. A setup mode is included in the operation modes. An input key is incorporated in the digital still camera, for inputting at least one setup parameter while the setup mode is set. A printed manual document is associated with the digital still camera, and has plural document pages. Each of the document pages has mode information of the setup mode as explained information. An RFID tag is secured to the printed manual document, for storing the mode information. An RFID tag reader is incorporated in the digital still camera, for reading the mode information of the setup mode from the RFID tag, to set the setup mode forcibly irrespective of setting of the mode selection key.

摘要： In a digital camera in which image data produced through a photographing operation is compressed to be written in a memory card, even if a shutter release button is depressed during the recording of the image data in the memory card, the photographing can be immediately achieved. While image data stored in a buffer memory is being compressed to be stored in the memory card, the depression of shutter release button is continuously monitored. If the release button is pressed, the recording operation in the memory card is interrupted to conduct the photographing. After the photographing is finished, the image data for which the recording is interrupted is compressed to be entirely written in the memory card beginning at the start point thereof.

摘要： A video camera connects a monitor with a camera body. A first multi-connector is connected to the camera body and includes a video output terminal for outputting a video signal to an external apparatus and a recognition output terminal for outputting a recognition signal in response to a ON/OFF state of the camera power. A second multi-connector is connected with the monitor, for connecting to the first multi-connector. The second multi-connector includes a video input terminal for inputting the video signal and a recognition input terminal for inputting the recognition signal from said camera body. A display is also provided for displaying an image based on the video signal inputted from the video input terminal of the second multi-connector and a power controller controls a monitor power to be ON/OFF based on the recognition signal inputted from the second terminal of the second multi-connector. In addition, the recognition output terminal of the first multi-connector is a power recognition terminal for outputting a power recognition signal designating whether the camera power is ON/OFF. Finally, the recognition output terminal of the first multi-connector is a control signal I/O terminal for inputting a control signal in conjunction with outputting a signal designating an operative state of camera. An operation switch operates the camera body and a control signal is output for to the control I/O terminal in response to operation of the operation switch. Also, a camera operation state displays an operative state of the camera based on the signal designating the operative state of camera inputted from the control signal I/O terminal.

摘要： If a transmission oscillator is incorporated into a communication semiconductor integrated circuit, such as high a frequency IC, constituting a wireless communication system, a problem arises. The accuracy of control of the output power of a power amplifier is degraded. This degradation in accuracy is caused by coupling noise between the output pins of the transmission oscillator and an input pin for detection signals (feedback signals) associated with the output level of the power amplifier or crosstalk. To prevent this, a transmission oscillator of differential output configuration is incorporated into a high frequency IC and an impedance equivalent to the impedance connected with a regular output terminal or a dummy external terminal for outputting transmit signals in opposite phase is provided.
