    • A cassette tape recorder with a radio receiver comprising a radio receiver system including an antenna, a tuner etc.; a tape recorder system including a magnetic head, motors etc.; an output system including variable resistors, speakers etc., which receives the audio signals from the radio receiving system or the tape recorder system; and a power source, wherein a switch is provided which is changed over by the operation of mounting a cassette on the tape recorder system and by the actuation of the temporary stopping mechanism so as to selectively connect the power source with the radio receiver system on the tape recorder system, whereby radio broadcasting can be received while the cassette is being mounted on the tape recording system.

    • An air-conditioner that conditions air inside a passenger compartment of a vehicle using a heat pump refrigerating cycle includes: a case having at least a first air passage and a second air passage independent from each other; an indoor heat exchanger cooling air; and a heating heat exchanger heating air. Inside of the heating heat exchanger is divided into a first section corresponding to the first air passage and a second section corresponding to the second air passage. The first section and the second section are located adjacent with each other through a border portion. The heating heat exchanger has a refrigerant passage through which refrigerant flows in parallel with the border portion.

    • In a heat pump cycle, refrigerant tubes of an outdoor heat exchanger serving as an evaporator for evaporating refrigerant, and cooling fluid tubes of a radiator for dissipating heat from a coolant of an electric motor for traveling serving as an external heat source are bonded to the same outer fins. The heat contained in the coolant flowing through the cooling fluid tubes can be transferred to the refrigerant tubes of the outdoor heat exchanger via the outer fins. Thus, in the defrosting operation which involves defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger by flowing the coolant through the radiator, the loss in transfer of the heat contained in the coolant to the outdoor heat exchanger can be suppressed, and the heat supplied from the electric motor for traveling can be effectively used for defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger.
