    • An aspect of the invention provides a base station including: a communication unit configured to communicate with a wireless terminal; a determination unit that determines whether or not the wireless terminal is in a cell edge which is a first communication area to be overlapped with other communication area based on a signal reception state of the wireless terminal; and a controller that controls the communication unit to communicate with the wireless terminal to alternately use one of first subcarriers when the wireless terminal is determined to be in the first communication area and that controls the communication unit to communicate with the wireless terminal to use a second subcarrier when the wireless terminal is determined to be outside of the cell edge which is a second communication area to be not overlapped with other communication area.

    • There is provided with a control station which controls a plurality of base stations whose respective communication areas partially overlap one another and each of which uses same frequency band dividing into one or more divided bands, including: a division pattern receiver configured to receive information indicating a division pattern of the frequency band from each the base station; a dedicated subcarrier setting section configured to set for each the base station some of subcarriers included in at least one divided band in the frequency band as dedicated subcarriers which are available only for the base station and which are not available for the other base stations; and a dedicated subcarrier informer configured to inform each the base station of dedicated subcarrier information indicating dedicated subcarriers set for the base stations.

    • A terminal station radio communication device belongs to a second radio communication system which shares a frequency channel with a first radio communication system in which a radio terminal station communicates with a radio base station in a predetermined time period using a predetermined frequency channel. The terminal station radio communication device includes: a transmission power determining unit which sets up signal transmission power, the signal transmission power being usable for communications between radio communication devices belonging to the second radio communication system, and being determined such that reception power at the radio base station is below a predetermined threshold; a synchronizer enabling the radio terminal station to obtain timing information to start signal transmission; and a signal transmitter starting transmitting the signal at the timing represented by the timing information and terminating the signal transmission within a predetermined time period.
