摘要： In a control system for a power steering apparatus, in which a steering assist amount in a steering mechanism of a vehicle is controlled to a target assist amount, a vehicle speed sensor 41 for detecting a running speed V of the vehicle and a steering angle sensor 52 for detecting a steering angle ha of the vehicle are provided. A lateral acceleration calculation unit calculates a lateral acceleration GY from the vehicle speed V and the steering angle ha and further determines the product V.GY of the vehicle speed V and the lateral acceleration GY. A fuzzy logic calculation unit then sets the target assist amount in accordance with a fuzzy logic rule using the vehicle speed V and the product V.GY as input conditions (membership functions). This thereby provides a control system and control method for controlling a power steering apparatus which presents an optimum steering characteristic in response to the running condition of the vehicle.

摘要： A method of producing a spring which reduces time required for a heat treatment step of eliminating a machining strain generated by a forming step is provided. This production method is provided with a forming step (S10) of forming a spring steel material into a spring shape and a heat treatment step (S12) of eliminating a machining strain generated in the spring steel material by the forming step. The heat treatment step is executed by electrically heating the spring steel material by applying a current thereto. The heat treatment step has a first step of heating the spring steel material to a predetermined set temperature and a second step of keeping the spring steel material at the set temperature for a predetermined set time period subsequent to the first step. The set temperature is set to be higher than 430° C. but not higher than 500° C.

摘要： The invention provides an aqueous ophthalmic composition, containing a beta blocker such as timolol, carteolol or the like, and a sugar alcohol such as mannitol, sorbitol or the like, optionally together with boric acid. The composition of the invention can improve the corneal permeability of a drug, so that the dose of the drug can be lowered, for example by decreasing the frequency of application to the eyes. It is therefore expected that the risk of systemic side effects which may be induced by the application of the beta blocker to the eyes, including cardiotoxicity or respiratory toxicity can be reduced. The decrease in the frequency of application of ophthalmic solution can favorably improve the QOL and prevent the decrease of therapeutic effect which may be caused by missing the application to the eyes.

摘要： The present invention provides an aqueous composition obtained by dissolving, in water, hydroxyethyl cellulose, methyl cellulose and/or Hypromelose and the invention also provides a medicament comprising the aqueous composition and a drug incorporated therein.The viscosity of the composition of the present invention is abruptly increased when heated at a temperature near the body temperature, but it is rapidly reduced when applying weak force thereto, for instance, by lightly shaking the same. When the medicament obtained by incorporating a drug into the composition of the present invention is administered to a living body, the composition of the present invention can be thickened without delay at the administered site and thus stay at that site over a long period of time and this in turn leads to a considerable increase of the BA of the drug. In addition, the thermally thickened composition of the present invention can easily be converted into a composition having a high flow ability simply by applying weak force to the composition and therefore, the composition of the invention is not necessarily stored at a cold place or in a refrigerator and it is convenient to carry about.
