    • A glove box assembly for a vehicle includes a box member that is adapted to fit in an opening of the vehicle. The box member includes front and rear surfaces with the rear surface including a guide surface formed thereon. The box member includes at least one latch slot formed therein. A door member having front and rear surfaces is hingedly attached to the box member. The door member includes at least one latch member extending rearward from the rear surface of the door member. The at least one latch member is movable in and out of the at least one latch slot formed in the box member. A slide member extends from a first end to a second end and includes front and rear surfaces. The front surface of the slide member is disposed proximate the guide surface such that the slide member is operative to move laterally relative to the guide surface. The slide member includes at least one pocket formed therein. The at least one latch member is operative to releasably contact the at least one pocket when the door member is hinged closed relative to the box member.

    • A device environment configuration apparatus and method for defining a device profile containing setup information for a device according to how the device is connected to a system such as a POS terminal system. Device profiles are displayed according to how the various devices in the system are connected. Device profiles are inputted for setting the OPOS device environment configuration settings in a registry to match how the devices are connected in the POS terminal system. A device profile editor relates the input data to a device profile previously stored in the OPOS device environment configuration settings so that a particular device profile can be edited. A device profile verification unit verifies whether the edited profile is appropriate based on the OPOS device environment settings. Based on the edited profile data, a device profile updating unit then updates the OPOS device environment configuration settings in the registry.

    • A liquid ejection apparatus has a liquid cartridge including a liquid container that has a flexible portion and stores liquid therein and a pressure chamber for applying pressure to the flexible portion of the liquid container; a liquid ejection head for ejecting liquid; a liquid flow path for guiding liquid from the liquid container to the liquid ejection head; a pressure pump for generating pressurized air; and an air flow path for guiding the pressurized air to the pressure chamber. The pressure pump includes an air chamber that communicates with the air flow path and a pressing member for pressing the air chamber so as to decrease the capacity of the air chamber. The capacity of the air chamber is decreased by the pressing member so as to increase the pressure in the air chamber to an upper limit value of a liquid supply pressure range where a prescribed liquid ejection characteristic is obtained, before a liquid ejecting operation is performed on an ejection target member. A continuous liquid ejecting operation is performed on an ejection target member having a maximum size for the liquid ejection apparatus in a state that the capacity of the air chamber is fixed.

    • A liquid retainer support is arranged in a body of a liquid ejection apparatus in an immovable manner or in such a manner as to allow reciprocation of the liquid retainer support. A liquid retainer is secured to the liquid retainer support. A liquid retainer chamber is defined in the liquid retainer in such a manner as to allow communication between the liquid retainer chamber and the atmospheric air. A liquid supply system of the liquid ejection apparatus is manufactured by blocking the liquid retainer chamber from the atmospheric air and connecting a liquid passage defining body to the liquid retainer for supplying liquid from a liquid reservoir to the liquid retainer chamber. The liquid passage defining body includes a liquid passage that communicates with the liquid reservoir. In this manner, the cost for manufacturing the liquid supply system is reduced.
