摘要： An information processing apparatus includes a first display control section, a first input section, and a second display control section. The first display control section controls displaying of a plurality of content representative pictures so that the content representative pictures are displayed and arranged in a first direction. The content representative pictures represent a plurality of titles of content. Each of the titles of content is made up of a plurality of structural units. The first input section inputs a first user's operation to select one content representative picture from the displayed content representative pictures. The second display control section controls displaying of structural unit representative pictures so that the structural unit representative pictures are displayed and arranged in a second direction starting from the selected content representative picture when the first user's operation is input. The control unit searches for contents stored in the different device on the network, generates a list of thumbnail images indicating the searched contents, estimates an error rate when each of the contents is received and reproduced, and outputs the list to the display apparatus, the control unit changing a state of each of the thumbnail images in the list according to the estimated error rate. The operation input unit receives reproduction instruction operation with respect to the content indicated by each of the thumbnail images. The reproduction unit receives the content, which is subjected to the reproduction instruction operation, from the different device, and reproduce the content.

A reproduction signal processing portion 26 extracts an ID signal that identifies the number of samples of the data. The extracted ID signal is supplied to a record signal processing portion 39 and a fs clock generating PLL portion. The fs clock generating PLL portion 33 generates a clock corresponding to the supplied ID signal. A sound (audio) signal is sampled corresponding to the generated clock. The sampled signal is supplied to the record signal processing portion 39 along with the ID signal supplied from the record signal processing portion 39 and the number of samples represented by the ID signal to an after-record region.
