The coupling arm is swingably pivotally supported by the rear slider, and the coupling arm is provided with a stopper for regulating the back-and-forth movement of the rear slider by fitting to a locking hole formed in the guide rail, and the front slider is provided with a coupling pin and the coupling arm is provided with a coupling cam groove, and the front slider is moved backward so that the coupling pin and the coupling cam groove are engaged with each other to thereby swing the coupling arm so that the stopper is disengaged from the locking hole and the rear slider being interlocked with the front slider is rendered to be moved back and forth.

The spinous silica-based particles have verrucous projections formed on surfaces of spherical silica-based particles. In the spinous particles, a value of the surface roughness (SA1/SA2, SA1 indicating a specific surface area measured by the BET method or the Sears method and SA2 indicating a specific surface area converted from an average particle diameter (D2) measured by the image analysis method) is in the range from 1.7 to 10. 摘要： The check valve unit of a hydraulic tensioner comprises a check ball, a ball guide and a disc-shaped retainer. The retainer is fixed to the high pressure oil chamber side of the ball guide by crimping an annular portion of the ball guide over the outer edge of the retainer so that substantially all of an annular circumferential portion of the high pressure chamber side of the retainer is held underneath the crimped portion of the ball guide. The crimped portion of the ball guide forms a recess for receiving and positioning a plunger-biasing spring. A ball seat is similarly secured to the inflow side of the ball guide by crimping.

The torque transmission mechanism transmits torque of the drive plate to the driven plate via at least one of the damper springs, wherein the torque transmission mechanism is structured to allow a combination of damper springs acting during torque transmission to be changed at lease three times as a rotation angle of the drive plate relative to the driven plate becomes greater. Each of the damper springs can be extended and compressed circumferentially about the rotation axis and is disposed at the same radial position about the rotation axis.

The outer circumferential surface of each bushing is provided with at least one flat portion or at least one concave groove, and a protruding portion of the bushing is formed adjacent the end of the flat or groove remote from the engine block-contacting end of the bushing.
