    • The present invention presents methods providing for system resource-efficient radio resource allocation of mobile terminals. The methods may include generating a first scheduling message including first scheduling information indicative of at least a first radio resource allocated to a first mobile terminal. The methods may also include generating a second scheduling message including second scheduling information, which, when combined with said first scheduling information, is indicative of a second radio resource allocated to a second mobile terminal. The methods may further include transmitting said first scheduling message to said first and second mobile terminals using a first robustness level, and transmitting said second scheduling message to said second mobile terminal using a second robustness level. Related network nodes and mobile terminals are also provided.

    • A method in a base station (110) for enabling the base station (110) to identify a neighbouring base station (120) is provided. A request is being sent (303) to a user equipment (130), commanding it to send an identification requesting message to the neighbouring base station (120). In response to reception of the sent identification requesting message, a neighbouring base station identifier that is associated with and identifies the neighbouring base station (120), is received (303). Thereby the base station (110) is enabled to identify the neighbouring base station (120). By receipt of the neighbouring base station identifier, the base station becomes aware of and is enabled to contact, or connect with, the neighbouring base station more directly, without the need of doing it through the user equipment. This can be done at some later point in time, for example in order to request the neighbouring base station to perform handover measurements with regard to the same or another user equipment.

    • A method in a first base station for supporting DTX is provided. The first base station serves a first cell being in an active mode. The first base station communicates with a user equipment within the first cell. The first base station is comprised in a radio communications system further comprising the user equipment and a second base station serving a second cell being in a non observable mode. The first base station sends (602) to the second base station, a request to switch the second cell state from a non observable mode to an observable mode. It further sends (603) to the user equipment or to the second base station, a request to perform signalling between the user equipment and the second base station for quality measurements. The first base station then obtains (604) information that handover is feasible, based on quality measurement of the performed signalling. The first base station sends (605) to the second base station, a request to prepare handover of the user equipment from the first cell to the second cell, and further (606) to the user equipment, a command to perform handover to the second cell.
