    • A connector conduction tester includes a conduction testing section and a connector holding section which are arranged on a stand frame and an operating section for moving the conducting testing section towards the connector holding section, in which a conduction testing operation is carried out with testing pins of the conduction testing section abutted against terminals in a connector. In the tester, the stand frame has a spacer supplying hole which is confronted with a spacer inserting hole formed in a connector set in the connector holding section, and spacer pushing device located below the spacer supplying hole. Furthermore, a conduction testing method in which a connector is set in a connector holding section and a conduction testing section is moved, so that the conduction of terminals in the connector is tested with testing pins, in which a spacer is supplied to a spacer supplying hole in a stand frame which hole is confronted with a spacer inserting hole formed in the connector, and when the connector is engaged with the conduction testing section, the spacer is pushed into the spacer inserting hole from the spacer supplying hole with the aid of pushing device.

    • A waterproof connector includes a female connector housing and a cylindrical packing holder. The female connector housing has a peripheral edge of an opening through which a male connector housing is inserted. The packing holder has a peripheral edge of an opening. This peripheral edge contacts the inside of the peripheral edge of the opening in the female connector housing. The peripheral edge of the opening in the packing holder has end portions formed by partially cutting the packing holder. Recesses are formed in the end portions on the peripheral edge of the opening in the packing holder. Projections are formed on portions of the female connector housing, which portions correspond to the end portions of the packing holder. The projections are fitted into the recesses so as to join the packing holder and the female connector housing. When the packing holder is inserted into the female connector housing, the peripheral edge of the opening in the packing holder is joined integrally with the peripheral edge of the opening in the female connector housing. Thus, when the male connector is fitted, it is mated smoothly with the female connector housing without causing the end portions of the peripheral edge of the packing holder to hinder mating.

    • In order to prevent a terminal from being incorrectly inserted into a connector housing, a connector according to the present invention comprises a connector housing 2 being formed by molding resin in such a manner that a flexible locking lance 10 for a terminal 3 is protruded from an inner wall of a terminal accommodating chamber 6 formed in the connector housing 2; a stripping hole 21 of the flexible locking lance and a lead-out hole 14 for receiving the end portion of the terminal are provided at the inner end of the terminal accommodating chamber; a guide wall 16 on which the terminal may abut is provided between the stripping hole and the lead-out hole; a stripping groove 17 is formed in the flexible locking lance 10 in such a manner that it is extended longitudinally of the flexible locking lance; and a guide prolongation 18 is protruded from the guide wall in correspondence to the stripping groove.

    • A shielding terminal for a coaxial cable includes a first clamping portion, a second clamping portion and a junction portion. The first clamping portion clamps an insulative sheath of the coaxial cable. The second clamping portion clamps a exposed conductive braid portion of the coaxial cable. The junction portion is formed integrally between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion.     • A housing body is provided with a pair of first retainers and a plurality of terminal chambers for accommodating a plurality of connection terminals. A spacer is attached to the housing body for doubly retaining the connection terminals in the housing body.
