    • A windshield wiper assembly includes a pair of leaf spring elements. The leaf spring elements are supported generally parallel to each other with a space therebetween. A squeegee is supported within the space between the leaf spring elements. A windshield wiper arm bracket is fixed to an intermediate portion of the pair of spring steel elements and is connectable to a windshield wiper arm. A support bracket maintains the pair of leaf spring elements in generally parallel spaced apart relation to support said squeegee therebetween. The support bracket supports the squeegee for longitudinal movement with respect to the pair of leaf spring elements during operation of the windshield wiper assembly to prevent binding of the squeegee.

    • A device simulator (101) for simulating the user interface of a device is disclosed. The simulator comprises a graphical representation 102 of a device having a user interface (104, 106) having a plurality of input keys presented on a display. The simulator-further includes a key event mask (202) having a plurality of key masks, each key mask having a RGB color value and a shape substantially matching the shape of a corresponding input key of the plurality of input keys. The RGB color value includes a key event number encoded therein and readable by the controller of the simulator in response to a pointer or mouse event.

    • A keypad security apparatus and security system are provided. The keypad includes a network connector to connect the keypad to a data network, an address tracker to track an address assigned to the keypad, and a data input to receive user input data, including arm/disarm commands and to transmit the data via the data network. The network may be a LAN, such an Ethernet connecting the keypad via a router to an internet. A security control panel may also be connected to the local area network. Audio data may be input to the keypad and transmitted via the network voice data over data network, such as voice over IP data (VoIP). The address assigned to the keypad may be an IP address or a local area network address. The keypad may be connected as a wireless device.
