摘要： The subject application is directed to a system and method for selective incorporation of targeted content in remotely rendered documents. An electronic document is first received from an owner. Layout data corresponding to the size and/or position available for placement of secondary content in connection with a rendering of the electronic document is then received. Destination data corresponding to an output destination for a rendering of the electronic document is then received. The secondary content is then retrieved in accordance with the received destination data and formatted based upon the received layout data. The electronic document and the secondary content are then communicated to an output destination in accordance with the received destination data so as to generate a rendered document at the output destination, with the rendered document incorporating the electronic document and secondary content mutually arranged based upon the layout data.

A request for a transient address corresponding to mobile document processing operations is first received from an associated user. Upon receipt of the request, a transient address is generated corresponding to the associated user. Transient address data is then generated for routing electronic documents in accordance with a received document processing request. A document processing request is then received corresponding to a request for the performance of processing of at least one electronic document. The at least one electronic document is then routed to an associated document processing device, data storage device, or facsimile device corresponding to the transient address. Upon the occurrence of a selected event, the transient address is deleted.

The method further includes receiving touchdown and hold data indicating that a user has interacted with a portion of the electronic document and beginning a continuous zoom process for that portion of the electronic document. The method further includes halting the zoom process once a user has released the touch over the portion of the electronic document and displaying the magnified document on the user interface. The method employs a similar operation to enable a de-zooming operation.

The web server encodes and then stores the string. Any character that is not a 7 bit ASCII character is encoded by encapsulating it with an escape code, the escape code comprised of an illegal character. Upon a request to retrieve the encoded string, the web server decodes and converts to UTF8 the encoded character string. When a client or browser requests the folder or document containing the encoded string, the string is properly displayed in the client's or browser's native language.

摘要： A system and method for selective rerouting of document processing jobs is provided. A printer driver first converts electronic document data is into a device compatible format and assigned a unique document ID. The printer driver then determines a set of network devices, such as document processing devices, that are participating in the performance of received document processing jobs. The converted document data is then divided into portions and one or more portions are then sent to each of the participating network devices. One of the devices is then selected as the output device, whereupon the output device broadcasts/multicasts a request for processed data portions from each of the other network devices. The received portions are then recombined, and released for further processing in accordance with the received document processing job.
