摘要： Provided is a multi-display apparatus that can mitigate a disconnection of an image and its perspective view at a seam between panels. The multi-display apparatus is characterized in that the two panels are disposed with a step difference so that pixel boundaries of display devices formed on substrates overlap, and a high refractive optical film having a refractive index in a range from 1.2 to 3.0 is formed on one of the two panels, which is farther than the other panel according to a perspective of a viewer. The multi-display apparatus not only improves the disconnection of an image at a seam between the two panels, however, also mitigates a perspective view of the image at the seam due to the step difference between the two panels, and thereby, realizing a large natural and smooth image.

摘要： A flat panel display device includes a display area in which a desired image is displayed, and a non-display area arranged outside the display area. The display device includes bank portions arranged on a substrate in a predetermined pattern in the display area and partitioning a plurality of first openings, an emission element arranged at each first opening, dummy bank portions formed in the non-display area together with the bank portions and a sealing passivation layer covering the emission element. The sealing passivation layer consisting of at least a two-layer structure including an organic film and an inorganic film alternately deposited, arranged along a surface defining the dummy bank portions on the upper surface of the emission element, and having a sectional portion directed to and contacting the substrate or a film on the substrate. The flat panel display device of the present invention blocks permeation of harmful material such as moisture or oxygen, thereby preventing degradation of performance of the display device.

摘要： In an organic electro-luminescent display, a pixel circuit is disposed in a unit pixel region defined on a substrate. A passivation layer covers the entire unit pixel region including the pixel circuit. An organic light emitting diode (“OLED”) including a transparent lower electrode formed on a portion of the passivation layer which does not overlap the pixel circuit, an OLED layer, and an upper electrode are sequentially formed on the passivation layer. The transparent lower electrode is a transparent anode of the OLED. A protective layer is formed of the same material as the transparent lower electrode and disposed on a portion of the passivation layer corresponding to the pixel circuit to cover and protect the pixel circuit.
