摘要： An initial relay user equipment (UE) device transmits a llu radio link failure (RLE) notification to a remote UE device when the Uu communication link from the initial relay UE device to the serving base station fails. The remote UE device refrains from sending signals to the serving base station through the initial relay UE device at least until receiving a Uu link reestablished notification indicating that the Uu communication link has been reestablished. In some situations, the remote UE device identifies a preferred candidate relay UE device after receiving the Uu RLF notification and selects the preferred candidate relay UE device for relay communication in response to receiving a Uu link reestablished notification indicating the Uu communication link could not be reestablished.

摘要： The methods, devices, and systems discussed herein describe a wireless communication device broadcasting a periodic discovery channel message that includes an identifier associated with the wireless communication device that indicates its presence to neighboring wireless communication devices. If the neighboring wireless communication devices receive the periodic discovery channel message transmission above a pre-defined received power threshold and successfully decode the periodic discovery channel message, then the transmitting wireless communication device is added to the neighboring wireless communication devices neighboring device list. After receiving the periodic discovery channel messages from all of the neighboring wireless communication devices, a wireless communication device is able to identify all of its immediate neighboring devices and form its neighboring device list. Based on detecting periodic discovery channel message transmissions, a wireless communication device periodically updates its neighboring device list with new additions or removals of neighboring wireless communication devices.

摘要： A serving base station allocates communication resources to be used by an aerial vehicle user equipment device (AV-UE) for uplink data transmissions. A neighboring base station is informed, via an air interface, of the communication resources that were allocated to the AV-UE. In some examples, the AV-UE retransmits scheduling assignment information, received from the serving base station, to the neighboring base station. In still other examples, the AV-UE transmits a sounding reference signal (SRS) to the neighboring base station. The neighboring base station can decode the retransmitted scheduling assignment information and/or the SRS to obtain information regarding the communication resources that have been allocated to the AV-UE for uplink data transmissions. The neighboring base station mitigates interference from the uplink data transmissions sent by the AV-UE.

摘要： A base station receives a bitrate query from a first user equipment (UE) device being served by the base station. The bitrate query can be a request for a bitrate increase or decrease. The base station transmits a bitrate recommendation to the first UE device. The bitrate recommendation is to be used for a Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) call between the first UE device and a second UE device. In some instances, the first UE device and the second UE device negotiate the bitrate to be used for the VoLTE call, based on the bitrate recommended by the base station. The first and second UE devices implement a bitrate for the VoLTE call and provide feedback to the base station.

摘要： A Device-to-device (D2D) user equipment (UE) device communicating with another D2D UE device within a first cell transmits a D2D subframe that includes a cell identifier a second cell when the UE device moves from the first cell to the second cell. After a handover to the second cell is initiated, the D2D UE device can suspend D2D communication. The D2D UE device transmits the D2D subframe, such as D2D discovery subframe, identifying the second cell when the handover is complete. The other D2D UE device identifies the second cell to the base station providing the first cell. The base stations providing the first cell and the second cell coordinate to determine resources for D2D communication between the D2D UE devices.
