摘要： The present invention discloses a method, an apparatus, and a system for transmitting data. A method for sending data includes: categorizing a received packet based on field information of a preset field in a packet header; encapsulating, for each category of packets, field information of a preset field in a packet header of a packet to an overhead field of a data unit, and encapsulating a packet payload of each packet and field information of another field except the preset field in a packet header of each packet to a payload field of the data unit; and sending the generated data unit to a destination node of the packet. The method, the apparatus, and the system are capable of improving bandwidth usage of a transmission link.

摘要： A method and device for protecting Ethernet Tree (E-Tree) services are disclosed. An ID is configured for each branch of the E-Tree. The method includes: determining a branch that needs to perform switching; notifying the ID of the branch that needs to perform switching to a work E-Tree through a root UNI of a protect E-Tree; and switching data over the branch that needs to perform switching from the work E-Tree to the protect E-Tree according to the ID of the branch that needs to perform switching. In the embodiments of the present invention, because an ID is configured for each branch of the E-Tree, the branch corresponding to the ID may be triggered to perform protection switching as required, thus implementing branch switching.

摘要： A method, apparatus and system for Ethernet Ring Protection (ERP) are disclosed. The system includes: a node which detects a link fault blocks the port connected with the faulty link after the link on the ring is faulty, and sends a fault alarm message to adjacent nodes; and the adjacent nodes judge whether the state of the node changes from the normal state to the faulty state according to the received fault alarm message, and clear the forwarding table of the node if such is the case.
