摘要： A wheel bearing assembly is provided which has a rotating speed sensor unit which includes a seal for preventing entry of foreign matter and which takes up little space and thus can be mounted on the wheel bearing assembly without increasing the axial dimension of the fixed member of the wheel bearing assembly. The assembly includes a fixed member fixed to a vehicle body, and a rotary member rotatably supported in the stationary member through a bearing and mounted to a vehicle wheel. An annular sensor is fitted to a knuckle, which is a part of the fixed member, on the inboard side of the bearing. A sensor seal is fitted to the annular sensor and has a seal lip kept in slide contact with a seal land formed on a constant-velocity joint outer ring, which is a part of the rotary member, to define a sealed space on the inboard side of the bearing. An encoder is mounted on a bearing inner ring, which is a part of the rotary member, in the sealed space. The sensor element is disposed in the sealed space, opposite the encoder.

摘要： To provide a rotation detecting device with a function of transmitting a rotational speed detection signal wireless and enable the rotation detecting device to be assembled compact in size without requiring any anti-rusting treatment to a multi-pole magnet assembly and a magnetic ring assembly, the rotation detecting device includes an electric power generator (11) for generating an electric power by a relative rotation between a non-rotatable member (1) and a rotatable member (7). The electric power generator (11) includes a multi-pole magnet assembly (13) and a magnetic ring assembly (12). A wireless transmission device (14) for transmitting the rotational speed detection signal outputted by the electric power generator (11) is employed. A sealing member (18) is also employed for sealing a working space delimited between the non-rotatable member (1) and the rotatable member (7), and the multi-pole magnet assembly (13) and the magnetic ring assembly (12) of the electric power generator (11) confront with each other at a location inwardly of the sealing member (18). The sealing member (18) is mounted on the magnetic ring assembly (12) or the wireless transmission device (14) of an annular configuration.

Each of the first and second sealing plates (1, 2) is of a generally L-shaped section including a cylindrical (16, 26) wall and a radial upright wall (1a, 2a), and an elastic seal lip element (38). The first sealing plate (1) is secured with the radial upright wall (1a) thereof positioned adjacent respective end faces of the inner and outer races (11, 12), and the radial upright wall (1a) of the first sealing plate (1) has a free end remote from the cylindrical wall (1b) of the first sealing plate (1) spaced a predetermined distance from the cylindrical wall (2b) of the second sealing plate (2) to thereby form a radial gap (4). The radial upright wall (1a) of the first sealing plate (1) also has an outer side face (B) set back inwardly from a free end face (A) of the cylindrical wall (2b) of the second sealing plate (2).

摘要： To provide a rotation detecting device with a function of transmitting a rotational speed detection signal wireless and enable the rotation detecting device to be assembled compact in size without requiring any anti-rusting treatment to a multi-pole magnet assembly and a magnetic ring assembly, the rotation detecting device includes an electric power generator (11) for generating an electric power by a relative rotation between a non-rotatable member (1) and a rotatable member (7). The electric power generator (11) includes a multi-pole magnet assembly (13) and a magnetic ring assembly (12). A wireless transmission device (14) for transmitting the rotational speed detection signal outputted by the electric power generator (11) is employed. A sealing member (18) is also employed for sealing a working space delimited between the non-rotatable member (1) and the rotatable member (7), and the multi-pole magnet assembly (13) and the magnetic ring assembly (12) of the electric power generator (11) confront with each other at a location inwardly of the sealing member (18).
