摘要： A sewing machine is disclosed having an electric circuit divided into a first high-voltage section and a second low voltage section. The second section is supplied via a step-down transformer connected to the first section. The second section has a rectifier connected to the output of the transformer for dispensing DC power to the functional elements of the machine. The first circuit section, the transformer and some elements of the second section are contained in a remote housing which is separate from the machine and is linked to it by a cable. A foot pedal for actuating the machine is integral with the housing.

The assembly includes a tool carrier, a mounting head for connecting the tool carrier to the driving member having at least one seat surface being cooperatively engaged with a corresponding portion of the tool carrier, a device for holding the tool carrier in contact with the seat, and positioning element to place the mounting head in a specific position relative to the tool carrier when the tool carrier is held by the holding device. The positioning element includes at least one stop member preventing displacement of the tool carrier on the seat, abutment members disposed in a specific direction for preventing displacement of the tool carrier on the seat in any path transverse to the direction, and at least one thrust member acting on the tool carrier in the direction for holding the tool carrier in permanent contact with the stop member in the specific position with respect to said mounting head.

摘要： This contrivance includes a support (1), in which a tubular element (5) is mounted to slide, the tubular element containing a rod (6) mounted to slide in it and subjected to the action of a restoring spring (7) fixed to the support (1). At its lower end, the element (5) has two shells (10, 11) forming a cage (9) in cooperation with a belt (13) that is solid with the rod (6) and is moreover connected to the shell (11) by a second restoring spring (15). An element (17) is mounted to slide horizontally in the shell (10) and carries a hook (18) for grasping the thread, the movement of which hook is controlled by the joint action of a slideway (19), solid with the belt (13), and a dog point (17a) solid with the element (17). Any relative displacement of the shells (10 and 11) and of the belt (13) leads to an axial movement of the element (17) along a path such that the hook (18) is made to pass through the eye (c) of the needle (4) to grasp any thread placed on a support (22) solid with the element (17) affixed to the shells (10 and 11) of the cage (9). This contrivance may be used for threading the eye of a needle of a sewing machine in particular.

摘要： In a sewing machine, a needle-bar is slidingly mounted in two bearings, the external surface of each of which has a spherical profile. The bearings are pivotably engaged in respective seats of complementary profile provided in a fixed support, for an upper bearing, and in a movable lever, for a lower bearing. This lever is alternately pivoted into two opposite positions under the action of a stepper motor. The motor drives the movable lever by engagement of a pinion with peripheral gear teeth carried by the movable lever.The motor, the fixed support, the movable lever, the bearings and the needle bar form a self-contained and detachable assembly.
