摘要： The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for the power management of a digital communication line such as a digital subscriber line DSL. A problem addressed by the invention is that the transitioning of the digital subscriber line from a low transmission power state to a high transmission power state can cause disturbance to adjacent lines. This problem is solved by the current invention by an access node AN that is arranged to step-wise increase the power state until the high transmission power state has been reached. The invention also comprises embodiments of monitoring and detecting traffic events that serve as triggers of the transitioning.

摘要： A method and network node for uplink coordinated multipoint positioning are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes employing a coordinated multipoint function to decode data from a WD using signals received from the WD by the network node and from signals received from the WD by a plurality of cooperating network nodes. The method further includes converting the decoded WD data signal into a time domain reference signal and convert the signals received from the plurality of cooperating network nodes into time domain neighbour signals. The method also includes cross-correlating the time domain reference signal with the time domain neighbour signals to determine a time difference of arrival for each of the plurality of time domain neighbour signals. The method also includes calculating a position of the WD based on the time differences of arrival and based on locations of the cooperating network nodes.

摘要： A first network node of a cellular system is configured for communication with a second network node over a twisted pair wire. The first network node includes a receiver for receiving, over the twisted pair wire, an intermediate frequency signal from the second network node, which intermediate frequency signal has been converted from a high frequency signal having a frequency higher than the frequency of the intermediate frequency signal by the second network node, and a down-converter for converting the intermediate frequency signal to a low frequency signal having a frequency lower than the frequency of the intermediate frequency signal. The first network node also includes an up-converter for converting a received low frequency signal to an intermediate frequency signal having a frequency higher than the frequency of the low frequency signal.

The qualification and monitoring function (604, 606) sends data to a Resource Manager (602) of the access network upon request.
