摘要： An aircraft flight control surface actuation system includes a plurality of flap actuators, and a plurality of slat actuators. The actuators receive actuator position commands from an actuator control unit and, in response, move flaps and slats between stowed and deployed positions. The flight control surface actuator control unit includes a plurality of independent actuator control channels. One or more of the independent actuator control channels is coupled to both a flap actuator and a slat actuator, and is configured to selectively supply the actuator position commands thereto.

A second stator winding set independent of the first stator winding set is operable, upon being energized, to generate and apply a second torque to the rotor. A motor control is coupled to the first and second stator winding sets. The motor control is operable to selectively energize one of the first or second stator winding sets to thereby generate and apply one of the first or second torques to the rotor, and simultaneously energize both the first and second stator winding sets to thereby generate and apply a third torque greater than the first or the second torque.

摘要： A thrust reverser system that has one or more moveable thrust reverser components for redirecting the thrust of a jet engine. The thrust reverser system has a torque limiter coupled between synchronization mechanisms that mechanically couple actuators used to drive the thrust reverser. The torque limiter reduces the potential for the transmission of excessive torque between thevdifferent moveable thrust reverser components, and reduces the likelihood of secondary system damage due to a jam in the system. Thus, the cost and/or weight associated with each of the components comprising the system may be reduced.
