摘要： A content syndication platform, such as a web content syndication platform, manages, organizes and makes available for consumption content that is acquired from the Internet. In at least some embodiments, the platform can acquire and organize web content, and make such content available for consumption by many different types of applications. These applications may or may not necessarily understand the particular syndication format. An application program interface (API) exposes an object model which allows applications and users to easily accomplish many different tasks such as creating, reading, updating, deleting feeds and the like. Further, in at least some embodiments, a user can subscribe to a particular web feed, be provided with a user interface that contains distinct indicia to identify new feeds, and can efficiently consume or read RSS feeds using both an RSS reader and a web browser.

摘要： A tool for creating integrated collections. The tool may include a “basket” control that includes interfaces for receiving and displaying the data objects that are selected by a user to be included in a collection, and a collection creation component then provides a collection with one or more data items corresponding to the objects submitted to the basket control. The basket control may be employed by itself to make collections, or it may be hosted by another software object, such as a “listmaker” control that conveniently contains both the basket control and one or more user interfaces that a user can employ to provide data objects to the basket control. The listmaker control may thus include a viewing graphical user interface for viewing data objects and a navigation toolbar for navigating the viewing graphical user interface. The listmaker control may then be hosted as desired in a variety of software applications.

摘要： A wire guide bushing includes a thin-walled nylon tube which is outwardly flared at its proximal end, the border of the flared portion being folded forwardly to overly the flared portion outer face and form a double thickness wall. The tube is peripherally outwardly bulged shortly forwardly of the flared portion and the bushing is applied merely by inserting the bushing in a panel opening and forcing it past the bulge to embrace the opening border between the peripheral bulge and flared portion. In producing the guide bushing the tube is partially nested in a well in a block with the flared portion outermost and a tool with a cylindrical shank and an enlarged head with a concave underface is inserted in the tube and pressed downwardly against the flared portion edge to outwardly peripherally bulge the tube between the block and flared portion.
