The method includes measuring received signal strength from a target small base station, so that a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is estimated, when the SNR of the target small base station that considers a biased value for range expansion is greater than an SNR of a serving macro base station, determining whether an SNR of the target small base station that does not consider the biased value for the range expansion is equal to or less than a threshold, and when the SNR of the target small base station that does not consider the biased value for the range expansion is equal to or less than the threshold, transmitting indication information, informing that a low SNR is expected when the terminal performs a handover to the target small base station, to the serving macro base station.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving MAP information in a communication system are provided. A base station acquires channel quality information of each mobile station, generates sub-MAPs using MAP information, to which at least one of a coding scheme, a modulation scheme and a repetition scheme is applied, separately for each mobile station according to the channel quality information, and transmits the generated sub-MAPs. A mobile station receives MAP information from the base station, detects a sub-MAP allocated to the mobile station from the received MAP information, and restores the detected sub-MAP to MAP information using at least one of a corresponding decoding scheme, demodulation scheme and repetition scheme corresponding to coding scheme, modulation scheme and repetition scheme applied in the base station, based on channel quality information of the mobile station. Accordingly, system overhead can be reduced.

The optical line terminal includes a reflector that is installed at the input side of a multiplexer and reflects an optical signal having a predetermined wavelength, and a light source that generates a multimode optical signal to transmit the generated multimode optical signal to the multiplexer through the reflector, receives reflected light by the reflector, and oscillates at a wavelength of the received reflected light. According to the aspect of the invention, it is not necessary to separately control the temperature of a light source for a downstream signal, and stable communication can be performed by collectively controlling wavelengths of downstream channel optical signals for downstream channels through temperature control of the multiplexer.
