摘要： A sensor system includes a plurality of sensor units which transmit any one of a pressure detection signal and a temperature detection signal as a detection signal, a processing unit which transmits a switching command signal to the sensor unit and receives a detection signal from the sensor unit, communication lines through which the switching command signal is transmitted from the processing unit to each of the sensor units, and signal lines through which the detection signal is transmitted in a form of analog signal from the sensor unit to the processing unit. The sensor units are grouped into a first group and a second group. A plurality of communication lines of the first group are branched from one first base line connected to a first communication port of the processing unit.

摘要： A developing apparatus is disclosed that includes a developer carrier for carrying a developer used for developing a latent image, a developer supplying chamber having a developer supplying member for supplying the developer to the developer carrier by rotation, a developer storing chamber positioned above the developer supplying chamber for storing the developer and supplying the developer to the developer supplying chamber, and a partitioning member positioned between the developer supplying chamber and the developer storing chamber. The partitioning member has an opening through which the developer is supplied from the developer storing chamber to the developer supplying chamber. The developing apparatus includes a conveying member positioned above the partitioning member for conveying the developer in a substantially horizontal direction. The conveying member has an opening facing part situated directly above the opening for conveying the developer with less force than the other parts of the conveying member.

Both end portions of the developing roller are supported by the supporting members in a first direction in which the developing roller is movable toward and away from an image carrier. A groove is formed on each of the supporting members. Either one of an end portion of the developing roller and a bearing that supports the end portion is inserted into the groove. 摘要： A toner recovery device, capable of preventing toner from spilling out of the space between protruding sections and an inner wall of a toner-conveying pipe, and process cartridge and image forming apparatus having this device. Residual toner after transfer, which is carried into a carry-in section of the toner-conveying pipe, is held by the protruding sections of a toner-conveying belt and a bottom surface of the toner-conveying pipe, and conveyed to a carry-out section. Accordingly, the residual toner after transfer can be prevented from oscillating while being conveyed to the carry-out section. Therefore, the residual toner after transfer is prevented from spilling out of the space between the protruding sections and the inner wall of the toner-conveying pipe, and the amount of residual toner after transfer to be conveyed to the carry-out section can be prevented from being reduced.
