    • There is provided a method of winding up a transfer film and a device for performing transfer printing on printed sheets of paper, capable of eliminating the need to frequently replace the transfer film, thereby allowing the transfer film to be used over a prolonged time. According to the method of winding up a transfer film, the transfer film fed from a feed roll through a feed path is pressed onto a fed printed sheet to transfer patterns of the transfer film, and then the transfer film is wound up onto a windup roll through a windup path. During the rewind of the transfer film from the windup roll to the feed roll, a lateral position of the transfer film running along the feed path is detected, and the feed roll is moved in its axial direction to follow a lateral positional change of the transfer film.

    • An object is to simplify a drive control structure of a transfer device that is designed to stop running of a film when hologram forming or surface treatment is not performed, during which the film is not required to run, and restart the film running from the running stopped state. A speed control method for controlling film running speed of a transfer device includes starting the drive of the transfer device based on a pulse signal different from a pulse signal outputted according to the rotational number of the cylinder, when the transfer film held in running stopped state is moved from the first film running path to the second film running path to run in a docking or interlocking engagement with the cylinder held in rotating state, and performing speed matching control to match the film running speed of the transfer device to the rotational speed of the cylinder; and switching a control mode from the speed matching control into synchronization control that synchronizes the rotational speed of the cylinder with the film running speed of the transfer device based on the pulse signal from the cylinder, after the matching of the speeds.

    • There is disclosed a blood viscosity measurement device which measures a flow rate of blood and a thickness of a blood vessel to determine a viscosity of the blood. The device substitutes the flow rate of the blood, the thickness of the blood vessel, and a blood pressure into a predetermined calculation formula to calculate the viscosity of the blood. The flow rate of the blood is obtained from a change amount of frequency of a continuous ultrasonic wave transmitted to a blood flow and reflected by the blood flow. As to the thickness of the blood vessel, an inner diameter of the blood vessel is obtained from a pulse ultrasonic wave transmitted to the blood vessel and reflected by an inner wall of the blood vessel. On the other hand, a value measured with a general blood pressure gauge is utilized in the blood pressure. The blood viscosity measurement device substitutes the maximum flow rate, the maximum inner diameter, and the maximum blood pressure among the values acquired as described above into the calculation formula to calculate the viscosity of the blood.
