摘要： An information storage medium which stores data structures supporting multi-angles includes clip AV streams for respective angle data of multi-angle motion picture data. As additional information for each clip AV stream, clip information is recorded on a separate storage area from that of the clip AV streams. The clip information includes jumping-point information for jumping into another angle. Each of the clip AV streams may be recorded in a contiguous recording area, or divided into smaller interleaved units that are interleaved with units of the other clip AV streams.

摘要： A storage medium is provided for storing metadata for providing an enhanced search function using various search keywords of audio-visual (AV) data. The storage medium stores: AV data; and metadata for conducting an enhanced search of the AV data by scene using information regarding at least one search keyword. The metadata may include information regarding an entry point and/or duration, angles, etc. of each scene. Hence, the enhanced search can be conducted using various search keywords. Further, search results can be reproduced according to diverse scenarios, and the enhanced search function can be provided for movie titles that support multiple angles or multiple paths. Moreover, metadata can be created in multiple languages, thereby enabling the enhanced search function to support multiple languages.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for Automatic Repeat reQuest (ARQ) in a broadband wireless access system are provided. The method includes driving a timer which operates by a preset period to synchronize ARQ between the transmitter and a receiver; after transmitting data to the receiver without error, when a driving time of the timer expires, checking whether there is data to transmit to the receiver; when there is no data to transmit to the receiver, initializing the timer; and transmitting an ARQ reset message to the receiver. Hence, the air resource consumption and the power consumption in ARQ reset can be lowered by reducing unnecessary ARQ reset.

Accordingly, a caption can be provided in a plurality of languages, and can be easily produced and edited, and the output style of caption data can be changed in a variety of ways. In addition, part of a caption can be emphasized or a separate style that a user can change can be applied.

摘要： An information storage medium for storing multi angle data, and a recording method and a reproducing apparatus thereof. The information storage medium stores data for a plurality of angles of a scene in interleaved blocks. Sizes of the interleaved blocks are integral multiples of sizes of integral numbered aligned units that include packets. Angle change points are included in each of the interleaved blocks which allows a reproducing apparatus to seamlessly jump from one angle to another angle during reproduction of the multi angle data. A number of the angle points recorded on the information storage medium is computed so that a jumping distance required by the data during reproduction does not exceed a maximum jumping distance of a reproducing apparatus.
