摘要： The present invention is an integrated, diode laser-pumped, solid state lr which can be fabricated entirely with semiconductor fabrication techniques. The laser includes a substrate, a semiconductor light source grown over the substrate to provide pump light and a solid state laser grown over the substrate. The semiconductor light source produces pump light at a wavelength useful for pumping the solid state laser. The solid state laser includes a pump mirror transparent to the pump light, an output mirror, and a doped semiconductor layer deposited between the pump and output mirrors, the semiconductor, dielectric or polymer layer being doped with active metal ions. The pump light from the semiconductor light source is closely coupled to the solid state laser and passes through the pump mirror to pump the active metal ions.

摘要： A food warmer and display case which is especially adapted for use on the counter tops of restaurants and the like is illustrated wherein a glass enclosed area is provided for maintaining food such as cooked chicken for fast food service, in a heated humidified atmosphere. A lower housing is provided for supporting the glass closure and is adapted to provide for shallow containers for water to be heated by means positioned exteriorly of the water receptacles therebelow in such a manner that the heating means may be separately removed from the housing. A one-way reflective element covers a portion of the glass closure for diverting heat inwardly toward the food positioned within the food warmer yet permitting visual inspection thereof from the outside.

摘要： Compositions, useful as adhesives, comprise(i) an epoxide resin having glycidyl, .beta.-methylglycidyl, or 2,3-epoxycyclopentyl groups directly attached to oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur atoms,(ii) as curing agent for the epoxide resin, either one of certain (cyclo)aliphatic amines or one of certain tertiary amines, and also(iii) a polymercaptan, and(iv) a polyene having at least two activated ethylenic double bonds, each .beta. to an atom of oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur, the sum of these double bonds and of the mercaptan groups in the polymercaptan being at least 5.The compositions rapidly develop tack, so avoiding the need to hold, for a prolonged period in jigs, clamps, or other devices, objects being bonded together while the epoxide resin cures.
