Locating features make sure that the support structure is at a fixed location with respect to the pump body when the pump is in the closed position. The support structure controls movement of the retaining mechanism. The linkage mechanism applies the necessary force to move the support structure so that the pump is moved from an open position to a closed position.

The thermometer includes a thermocouple, a temperature stable and temperature independent power supply, a temperature stable differential first amplifier, a second amplifier that compensates for the nonlinear response of thermocouple voltage to temperature, and an analog/digital converter controlling a digital display indicating temperature according to a preselected scale. A particular feature of the invention is a latching comparator capable of activating a low battery indicator when the supply voltage drops below a preselected value.

摘要： A peristaltic pump having a nonmetallic housing supporting an internal rotor which carries compression rollers for cooperation with a compressible flow tube looped internally of the housing so as to effect a peristaltic pumping action on the tube during rotation of the rotor. The rotor contains hub projections which are directly journaled within bearing surfaces formed within the housing, and rotatably suports at least one nonmetallic compression roller through a tubular open ended metal support shaft which enables air flow through the support tube to provide improved heat transfer during operation.

摘要： An electrometric apparatus, which uses a measuring device that provides a high impedance dc signal which varies in accordance with the variable to be measured. The dc signal is amplified by at least one amplifier means and the amplified signal is applied to an indicating means which indicates the amplitude of the amplified dc signal. The supply voltage for the amplifier means is provided by a dc power supply means connected through a regulating means to positive and negative supply busses and for the amplifier means. The regulating means includes a transistor having its emitter-collector circuit connected in series between the power supply means and the positive supply bus of the amplifier means. A resistor and a Zener diode are connected in series and the series combination is shunt connected between the supply busses. A pair of series connected resistors are shunt connected between the supply busses. A programmable operational amplifier has one input connected to the junction between the resistor and the Zener diode and the other input connected to the junction between the series connected resistors. The output of the programmable operational amplifier is connected to the base of the transistor.

摘要： A flexible diaphragm having an arcuate ridge defines the pumping chamber of a fluid pump and is reciprocated by connection to the output shaft of an electric motor. The rigid plate portion of a connector is joined to the central portion of the diaphragm while the remainder thereof extends in an opposite direction where it is linked with an eccentric coupling carried by the output shaft of the motor. Although the diaphragm is driven in a rocking, reciprocating movement, the housing is formed with surface support portions which have radii of curvature such as to support the diaphragm during its distended periods, thereby assuring a long lifetime of diaphragm operation. The overall arrangement results in improved efficiency in pumping gases as well as liquids.
