    • A multi PRF doppler radar processor system for airborne target search radar preferably using five PRF's. The received signal is processed through a bank of doppler filters, and the filter number and PRF of every target indication in a single range band is memorized. When indications have been made at two different PRF's, the first and second data sets are processed. The first data set is used to determine a doppler band shift value, .DELTA.f, required to bring the center of a velocity band, A.sub.1, to the center of the filter band, and this same .DELTA.f is applied to the second data set, from which the corresponding velocity band, A.sub.2 is determined. The velocity bands A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 are converted by use of the Chinese Ramainder Theorem to an unambiguous velocity band Au. The original frequency shift .DELTA.f is applied to the center frequency of Au to determine the unambiguous doppler frequency of the target.

A digitizer generator provides a first pulse train, indicative of the video output of the system receiver, as an up-count input to an up-down counter. An adjustable pulse train, (corresponding to the function Vacos theta ) is applied as a down-count input to the up-down counter. A synthetic video, or display, signal is gated-on in response to an overflow condition of the up-down counter.

    • A time compression system used for spectrum analysis of multichannel digital systems in which there are X identical input channels and Y identical filters. Each input is sampled in parallel and then quantized with an analog-to-digital converter. The inputs are then stored channel by channel in a random access memory. Readout is interleaved simultaneously with the writing and each channel is readout serially. The stored digital signals are converted back to serial analog signals and fed to a single bank of filters for spectrum analysis.

    • Apparatus is herein disclosed for processing signals by storing and correlating with preset programs. The apparatus is disclosed as it relates to a pulse doppler radar application. Target reflected coded signals modulated by doppler are partly correlated to resolve ranges which are ambiguous with relation to the remaining uncorrelated code. The partly correlated signal is stored in a magnetic core matrix. A series of stitching networks wired (or stitched) in accordance with predetermined range and doppler combinations are coupled to the storage matrix so that when the signals stored in the matrix are read out to the stitch networks, correlation of the remaining ambiguity will occur indicating unambiguous range and doppler of targets. The stitch networks compare the stored code time histories with the preset codes representing a combined range and doppler signal.
