    • There is proposed an ejector device (6) for grenade projector or mortar projectiles (1), which permits simulation of mortar firing even in halls or very limited areas. It is known that blank cartridges (17) for rifles, pistols or bolt firing devices have only a slight degree of scatter in terms of gas pressure. Therefore the ejection speed of a piston (13) which is inserted into the ejector device (6) and which is driven by the powder propellent gases of the blank cartridge (17) is always the same. In that way it is always possible to achieve the same firing ranges of only a few meters.

    • Training ammunition for mortars having a projectile disposed in a cartridge case and provided with a propellant charge for being fired from a barrel insert of a dummy shell. An ejector charge is associated with the cartridge case and is provided with an ignition device and is arranged for ejecting the dummy shell together with the cartridge case from the mortar barrel. A flash hole is arranged between the propellant charge and the ejector charge, and an ignition jet conducting tube is disposed coaxially within the ejector charge and extends from the ignition device to the end of the ejector charge facing the flash hole. The ignition jet conducting tube is provided with at least one radial ignition aperture therethrough.

    • The recoilless practice cartridge is to be fired from the subcaliber barrel insert of a recoilless firearm and is provided with a projectile having a rearwardly opening central bore communicating with radial bores opening against an annular propellant charge surrounding a portion of the projectile. The practice cartridge case is provided with a bottom piece having one or more bores for receiving a detonator for ignition the propellant charge by passing a flame through the bores of the projectile and for thereafter conducting the propellant gas rearwardly through the cartridge case to counteract the recoil of firing the projectile from the cartridge case. Tamping means are provided for the propellant charge on the projectile and for the bottom piece bores.

    • A propelling charge support comprises horseshoe-shaped clips for engaging the tail fin and holding the propelling charges together for protection, a rounded saddle for holding the propelling charges of the cartridge, and winged edges to protect the propelling charges and aid in removal of the propelling charge support from the tail fin. The propelling charge support further comprises a flat outer surface on which the propelling charge support loaded with propelling charges can rest while being installed onto the tail fin. It comprises a fin engagement clip that interfaces with a fin blade when installed on the cartridge, and that prevents rotation of the propelling charge support and propelling charges about the tail fin axis during rough handling and transportation, preventing damage to the propelling charges.
