    • A garbage disposal installation tool is provided that is adapted to support a garbage disposal from its upper opening and through the sink drain, whereby the disposal unit is supported from above while the installer secures the unit to the sink drain. The device comprises a tool body having an elongated, threaded rod with an upper end and a lower end. The upper end comprises a handle, while the lower end comprises a pivotable garbage disposal support member adapted to support the disposal unit from its upper opening and from the interior thereof. Along the threaded rod is a sink drain bridge element that is adapted to bear against the upper surface of a sink drain and support the tool body and the disposal unit therefrom. The bridge element is threaded to the elongated rod and positionable along its length to elevate the disposal unit by rotating the handle.

    • The invention relates to a mechanical device for manually clamping objects (10), which allows a user to clamp objects which, owing to their characteristics, uses or processes, would be dangerous to the users hand, as well as simply to clamp different objects. The device consists of five main parts: an upper jaw (15), a lower jaw (25), an upper handle (45), a lower handle (30), and a simple lever two-point shaft (65). In order to clamp an object with the device, the user inserts his/her thumb into the buttonhole for the thumb (35) in the lower handle (30) and the rest of the fingers into the upper handle (45) in the space between the handle (50) and the finger-adjustment rod assembly (60). By expanding the fingers of the hand the upper (15) and lower (25) jaws open and by contracting the fingers the jaws close. Objects are clamped in an extension of the forearm, on the side opposite the palm of the hand. This device (10) can be used ambidextrously by making a simple change to the assembly of the lower handle (30).

    • A cooking utensil for turning grilled, fried or otherwise cooked items without risk of dropping or breaking the foodstuff. The utensil has two pivotally connected handles, joined by a spring-loaded hinge at one terminus. Each handle is equipped with a large, fan-shaped wire spatula for grasping food. The fan-shaped spatulas are large enough to grasp food items without risk of portions breaking or falling off. Further, the utensil is equipped with a hook and eye closure mechanism to secure the spatulas together when not in use. The device may also have metal prongs extending from the outer edges of the spatulas to better grasp foodstuffs.
