摘要： A geogrid using fiber-reinforced polymeric strips and its producing method are disclosed. The geogrid of a lattice shape includes plural longitudinal fiber-reinforced polymeric strips longitudinally arranged in parallel at regular intervals and formed by reinforcing fiber in a thermoplastic polymer resin, and plural lateral fiber-reinforced polymer strip laterally arranged in parallel at regular intervals and formed by reinforcing fiber in a thermoplastic polymer resin. Each longitudinal fiber-reinforced polymer strip has at lease one first contact point crossed with the lateral fiber-reinforced polymer strip on the upper surface and at least one second contact point crossed with the lateral fiber-reinforced polymer strips on the lower surface. The contact points are fixed by welding the longitudinal and lateral fiber-reinforced polymer strips. The geogrid is excellent in installation capacity, frictional feature and shape stabilisation and shows high tensile strength and low tensile strain and low creep deformation.

摘要： A slat for use in chain link fences is provided. The slat generally comprises an elongate, imperforate body member and first and second fins extending from the body member to provide privacy and to lock the slat within a channel of a chain link fence. The first and second fins include portions which are configured and oriented to extend laterally relative to the body member toward fins of adjacently positioned slats to provide privacy. Further, the first and second fins are configured and oriented to extend into knuckles of a chain link fence, to wedge into the knuckles to secure the slats within the channels of the chain link fence. The body member is configured to provide a spring or resiliency to provide the adjustable-width and self-locking capabilities of the slat.

摘要： A fence slat locking system includes elongated plastic slats weaved between consecutive links in a chain link fence. Each slat has a wall that is curved at the lateral sides. The bottom end of the slat is notched on opposite lateral sides defining a set of slat ears. A rail is weaved horizontally between the links of the chain link fence and attached with the bottom end of each slat. By inserting the bottom end of the slat vertically downward into a rail slot, the slat ears start to flatten moving the curved tips laterally away from the central longitudinal axis of the slat. Inserting the slat further vertically downward into the rail channel allow the slat ears to snap back into their original curved cross-sectional profile allowing the curved tips of the slat ears to snap back underneath a retaining section in the rail. The "snap back" action automatically locks the fence slat into the rail.

摘要： Wire stock for connecting rods is run through the nip of a pair of obliquely toothed rolls having teeth which taper from one face of the roll towards the other, and have a larger radius at the tip than along the portions flanking the tip. The angle of obliqueness matches the angle that a turn of a spiral wire will traverse the connecting rod. Round wire stock for the single-faceted spiral wires is run through the nip of a pair of rolls one of which has a cylindrical surface (i.e., a flat longitudinal profile), and the other of which has a circumferential groove with a slightly larger diameter than the round wire stock. As the wire is flattened on one side, its curved side is broadened. As the resultingly single-faceted round wire is wound into flattened spiral form, it is spatially orientationally guided, so that the facet becomes located facing outwards. The rods and flat spirals are conventionally assembled with one another and secured to one another at respective ends, to provide a balanced flat spiral woven wire conveyor belt with rounds of turns nested in concave oblique crimp notches on the connecting rods.
