摘要： A resilient pad for an article of footwear comprises a plurality of pocketed coil springs each of which is located in discrete pocket formed between two layers of material bonded or otherwise attached together at least at locations between the springs. The springs are preferably coil springs which may be of wire and are preferably of stainless steel or titanium. The springs are preferably wider than they are tall, i.e. they have a diameter which is greater than the height of the spring when the spring is in the pocket. The pad or panel may be substantially co-extensive in plan with a foot of a wearer of the article of footwear.

摘要： There are disclosed high heel shoes where separate components combine to create load balancing internal footwear technology. A two-piece system includes interlocking toe bed and shank constructed of complex three dimensional curved surfaces which create an intricately sculpted volume to provide structural support down the length of the entire foot. The toe bed provides a wide base and keeps the big toe pointed straight (at an approximately 10° angle). A heel maximizes the surface area of the bottom of the heel at the point of strike with the ground while retaining a minimal and aesthetically appealing silhouette from the side view. The toe bed and shank feature a composition of layered materials which when combined work to provide both stability and shock absorption to the ball of the foot during the foot strike of walking. An internal support structure provides a padded barrier and intermediary between the rigidity of the shank and the softness of the shoe upper.

The insole has a top sheet and a support base cushion. The support base cushion has a forefoot mid-cushion area that extends from a toe end to a metatarsal area of the insole and an arch to heel area that extends from a metatarsal area to a heel end of the insole. The insole has a forefoot cushion secured to the forefoot mid-cushion area. The insole also has a medial support cradle, which reduces over-pronation and knee stresses, a lateral support cradle, which provides a side support to help reduce stress on the knee, and a heel cushion, which acts in cooperation with the medial support cradle to resist excessive pronation, all secured to the bottom of the support base cushion in the arch to heel area.

摘要： The present invention is a non-woven foot membrane that helps provide comfort and support for the foot during high-heel or regular shoe wear. The device comprises a self-supporting membrane that flexes, stretches and conforms to the shape of the foot, or the portion of the foot in contact with the membrane, when worn. The device has different thicknesses throughout its structure. Preferably, the parts of the invention at and around the major points of contact on the bottom of the foot when wearing a shoe such as a high-heel, that is, the parts of the invention under the big toe, metatarsal heads of the forefoot, and the heel, are thicker than the other portions of the device. The device also has different frictional properties at the inner/upper surface and outer/lower surface as well as a curvilinear form that each work to cup and grip the foot as well as prevent slippage in the shoe. The increased thicknesses throughout various parts of the structure of the device as well as the opposing frictional properties and curvilinear shape all work to counteract the stresses experienced by the plantar soft-tissue during shoe wear.

摘要： An article of footwear is disclosed that includes an upper that defines an interior void, a sole structure secured to the upper, and a foot-supporting insert that is positionable within a lower area of the void and removable from the void. A system having a protrusion and an indentation may be utilized to, for example, secure the insert within the void. As an example, a protrusion may extend outward from a surface of the void, and the insert may define an indentation in a corresponding location and with a corresponding shape. When the insert is positioned within the void, the protrusion will extend into the indentation. The locations, shapes, numbers and overall configuration of the protrusion and indentation may vary significantly.
